I decide to cancel the service. It will take them 30 days to process the cancellation request and still charge me for another 1 month. Beware of this ISP, very horrible technical support and you will be charged for extra month after cancellation.

Jay was incredibly transparent and supportive regarding my case, which led to the problem being resolved. I understand it was not a Superloop problem, but having an in-house Superloop technician would have been greatly appreciated rather than having to wait for an NBN technician. This NBN provider has a lot of hidden catches, especially when you try to cancel. Please don’t sign up without carefully reading all the small fine print — it can really trap you later. I’d strongly suggest avoiding this provider if you can find a similar one elsewhere. Show details

The customer support was helpful. It took too long on hold before getting to speak to technical support. Have to wait until Monday for technician to resolve.

Follow-up · They dont seem to care that I have moved to CarbonComms. Superloop did not offer a better price just sent me a bill for the final month! I note a number of NBN retailers now dropping prices after many tried to exploit the NBN upgrade that cost them nothing. The industry is very shonky.

needed one more day and that I would get a discount for first 6 months if I waited, so I did. Again nothing happened so I called a week before moving into my apartment to cancel and was told the issue was solved but would just need to wait too 5 days after moving in to take agency as NBN had to come to the building as it was FTTB and they only had an appointment time then. So I stayed and called today only to find out that these appointment was never booked and the same error which was already happened was still occurring, so was completely and utterly lied to. I honestly think Superloop has exceeded my expectations, just not in the way you’d hope. I used to enjoy gaming, watching online TV, and streaming videos. had around 175ms ping to the same server, now it’s over 500ms, and even with a paid game accelerator it still sits around 350ms.
To make things worse, if you want to cancel the service, they require a 30-day notice period, even though I’ve been with them for less than a month. You can’t simply cancel because the service is terrible.
If you want your life to stay far away from TV, games, online shopping, or anything enjoyable on the internet, don’t hesitate to choose Superloop. If you don’t want your kids watching YouTube or Netflix, Superloop is definitely the right provider. I genuinely believe their mission is to help people stay offline and live a “pure,” internet-free life.
And to be fair, they’ve absolutely succeeded.

Shehan from the Sales department was incredibly helpful—he explained all the plan benefits in detail and offered me a good deal without any price increase, which made the decision so much easier. Because of his great service, I decided to lock in a 24-month contract today!
I forgot to mention earlier that I’d been having some internet connection issues for several days after some maintenance work from Superloop. So, I called Superloop again and spoke to Gayaru, who was fantastic with troubleshooting. We figured out that my modem was probably too old (I’d been using the one from MyRepublic for ages!). Gayaru helped me order a new modem, which I got for free—just had to pay $20 for shipping.
Now my connection is working again, though not at its maximum speed yet. I’m hoping it’ll be even better once the new modem arrives in about 5 days. Gayaru was super patient and even sent me a link with instructions on how to set up the new modem myself.

Regarding with connections- Before the recent Superloop maintenance, our internet connection was generally alright and we seldom had any issues. Occasionally, we did experience some drop-outs, but overall the service was quite reliable.

couldn’t figure out anything, the second managed to pick out the error but still couldn’t get it going and told me to contact my modem company. what a joke! blame the modem you useless [Content Removed]!
