Hello Our Swann doorbell rings continuously when connected to power because the button is depressed. Can we get a replacement for that part? Also it often plays a tune but no one is at the door. This has happened regularly since purchase about 18 months ago.

I have the receivers plugged into mains when pressed on outside one don’t ring inside when pressed it works when pressed inside but not outside l have had new batterie’s recently thanks Jean.
It maybe too far from the receiver. Test closer to the sender
Hi Jean, thank you for reaching out to us. What is the distance between the strike button (outside) and the receiver unit (inside)? If it's too far it may not be able to pick up the signal thus no chime will sound off.

My Swann doorbell after approximately one year of use without issues, stopping ringing. It now gives a very quiet knocking sound that is very hard to detect. Do I just replace the battery?
Sorry mine was a Battery version not Mains power
I didn't explain it very well. The bell is battery operated but the chime is plugged into the wall.
Hi Jeanette, Yes, please replace the battery and then see how you go. Let us know via this post if that resolves the issue. Thank you, Swann Team

Hello, I am getting random chimes night or day. Is is possible to change to frequency of the doorbell and chimes.
I did not look but returned mine for a refund. Try asking Swann direct. If you are able to change frequency and it does not help, you may need a wired doorbell.
Thanks Steve
Hi Raoul, Unfortunately the chimes cannot be changed on this particular model. It may be possible that the unit could be faulty, or there may be interference occurring if one of your neighbours has the exact same model doorbell. Please email us at aucs@swann.com regarding the issue and we will communicate via email thread. Kind regards, Swann Team
My 80 year old parents inlaw having same issue, not good when doorbell goes off at all hours of the night. Will be returning for refund. Pretty poor as lots of people have this issue so Swann are fully aware of the issue.
Hi Mark, Can you please also email us at aucs@swann.com so that we can address this with you? Kind regards, Swann Team
Hi, I have the same model. Chimes change and random ringing at odd hours, sometimes 1am in the morning, not good for a restful nights sleep. If there is a way to change frequency it's not mentioned in the manuals anywhere. Unit is only 4 months old and unplugged because it's not reliable as it is right now. Mark
Hi Pato, Unfortunately the chimes or frequencies cannot be changed. Please contact our Tech Support team on 1800 788 210 (AU) for help with the issue. If they then deem the device to be faulty, we can then look at arranging a refund or replacement for you under warranty. Kind regards, Swann Team

I have the swan wireless doorbell with plug in chime. Model SWHOM-DC820P.
I find that at various times during the day (and night) once of the chimes randomly rings for no reason. Tried changing battery on door bell on case that was the issue, but it made no difference. Would love a solution to this problem as I'm constantly opening up my door to an empty patio.
I brought one and it broke after a week.It did the same thing. If I was you I would get your money back and buy another brand not swan.

We got swan smart video door bell and charging it as required. To open the cover from bottom with little Alan key the screw came out. Neither it will open nor we can fit the little screw. It is hopeless to have this way to secure the bell with the plate. Do not know how to fix it now and taped it temporarily to hold it with plate. Any idea what could be done to secure it. Terrible way to secure it with difficult to handle little tools.
