I have just joined Swoop and have found the experience fairly easy and frustrating free. I used my own modem/router and just did what the swoop email said and bingo, I was connected. Very pleased. Speed test at 8:15pm was 382Mbps download and 47Mbps upload using wifi with my phone. Show details

I called in as my internet was down. Neil did a check and found it to be a NBN issue. Once he confirmed that the NBN issue was resolved. formalities. After a brief wait, I was put through to a Customer Support person named Deo, who patiently listened to all the information provided and acted on my request immediately. He showed real customer care and concern that I've never experienced before, and made sure that everything was settled: from the termination of my internet services account to the cancellation of the debit payment for the latest bill in April 2026. His excellent rendering of service for a customer who’s calling Swoop from China has made him someone worthy of respect and one who knows much about due diligence. Most of all, Deo has been extremely helpful in being able to allay all my concerns. It is staff like Deo who truly keep the spirit of customer care alive, thereby adding credibility to the organisation such as Swoop. I shall recommend my friends to take to using Swoop for their internet services and will, hopefully, use Swoop Broadband once again, when I eventually return to Australia. I'm not asking you to troubleshoot a device but to reconfirm your setup when your guides leave much to be desired. its mostly down to v6 but the number of consistent dropouts on the service is way to much for reliability, their CGNAT solution has caused a number of hung sessions requiring device reboots to rectify, thankfully i opted out of that quickly but the dropouts continue but thankfully not as perverse as they were previously but 3 months in now is more than enough time to get a good view of their service.
but in short poor customer services means bye bye swoop, just waiting for the billing cycle to come round and its churn time.
Issues, but resolved in a timely manner considering the circumstances – I will keep this short. I was with Swoop for 6 months and had no issues. But because of person circumstances I needed to change plans and opted for a different ISP to take advantage of a new customer discount. the same day the other ISP connected me but they had issue that could have taken up to a week to sort out. This caused unforseen problems as there where multiple NBN others for my address in the NBN Co portal. There were also some other technical issue along with natural disasters in the area of Swoop's offices. Hey that's Australia for you. As a result my Churn was quite a bit slower than usual. But to Swoop's credit a few key employees were able to resolve the issues quicker than expected. I am now very happy to be back with Swoop and hope to stay with them for a long time.

The connection was put in my sisters name without authorisation then staff would not listen that this was your error. Overdue invoice issued to my sister when neither of us received an invoice. The service has been terrible, support staff would not listen to us and even when assistance that a manager be put on they still would not listen Show details
Follow-up · My sister was an authorised person on my account and swoop advised they don’t know how they reverted the account to her name but think their system had a fault that they would look into. The manager who finally rang was apologetic and as it was unique problem but acknowledged that staff could have handled our complaint better. Situation has been rectified and the connection is fine.
