I called in as my internet was down. Neil did a check and found it to be a NBN issue. Once he confirmed that the NBN issue was resolved. He instructed me to power down my NBN box and power it back on after 10 seconds. In doing so, my NBN and internet was restored to normal. Thanks for a satisfactory encounter and fix. Show details

 Follow-up  · Unfortunately the part B of the task was to remove the fixed wireless antenna was a shambles. The connection was put in my sisters name without authorisation then staff would not listen that this was your error. Overdue invoice issued to my sister when neither of us received an invoice. The service has been terrible, support staff would not listen to us and even when assistance that a manager be put on they still would not listen Show details

 Follow-up  · My sister was an authorised person on my account and swoop advised they don’t know how they reverted the account to her name but think their system had a fault that they would look into. The manager who finally rang was apologetic and as it was unique problem but acknowledged that staff could have handled our complaint better. Situation has been rectified and the connection is fine.

it mostly down to IPv6 setup. When you have a working setup with other ISP's and you migrate to these guys and it doesnt work even with their unclear instructions you ask customer service for advice and they just fob you off to the vendor stating not our problem just because i'm not using their low end hardware and choose to use a higher grade… Read more

I'm not asking you to troubleshoot a device but to reconfirm your setup when your guides leave much to be desired. its mostly down to v6 but the number of consistent dropouts on the service is way to much for reliability, their CGNAT solution has caused a number of hung sessions requiring device reboots to rectify, thankfully i opted out of that quickly but the dropouts continue but thankfully not as perverse as they were previously but 3 months in now is more than enough time to get a good view of their service.

but in short poor customer services means bye bye swoop, just waiting for the billing cycle to come round and its churn time.

Issues, but resolved in a timely manner considering the circumstances – I will keep this short. I was with Swoop for 6 months and had no issues. But because of person circumstances I needed to change plans and opted for a different ISP to take advantage of a new customer discount. This other ISP was shockingly bad and I realized that I should have stayed with Swoop but just on a lower plan. I returned to Swoop, on… Read more

the same day the other ISP connected me but they had issue that could have taken up to a week to sort out. This caused unforseen problems as there where multiple NBN others for my address in the NBN Co portal. There were also some other technical issue along with natural disasters in the area of Swoop's offices. Hey that's Australia for you. As a result my Churn was quite a bit slower than usual. But to Swoop's credit a few key employees were able to resolve the issues quicker than expected. I am now very happy to be back with Swoop and hope to stay with them for a long time.

Resolved – We have made multiple calls this week to try and address our slow internet. Wednesdays call I was on hold for over an hour, and then once 6pm rolled around the phone went dead. modem we were told that we needed to speak with TP-link rather than the internet provider to set it up. That wasn’t relevant and TP-link told us there wasn’t an issue with the modem but rather the internet provider. So another call to Node1 (Swoop) to try and connect. Tried numerous avenues, the guy I spoke to raised his voice at me and said he couldn’t help me anymore. I felt it was pretty crazy that he basically said that the modem wasn’t the correct product or there was something wrong with it. I continued to try and work out what the next steps would be, and then the phone again cutoff. We weren’t happy, and still left without a resolution. Todays call was amazing, whilst our speed is still not great , the guy I spoke too worked through the setup and the new modem is now connected. I appreciate the help today, and the service was in stark contrast to what we have received multiple times throughout the week.

This is my first day with Swoop, so cant say much about that, but 5 start is for Vincent, he has been very patient and helped to set up modem. thanks Today, I have updated my reviews, I was with swoop for 2 months and it was not trouble free.. I switched from swoop to another service provider now. Internet speed was not stable, I would not recommend swoop to anyone. Show details

Decent service, mediocre reliability – The connection process was smooth and quick, but no hardware required. Made the switch due to the price/offer. Tested speeds using Ookla were always spot on, but we suffered constant buffering issues, dropouts and also a number of unexplained outages in just a few months. Information and tools on app was pretty limited. Switched back to our old provider and connection reliability restored immediately. Show details
