Signed up online 3 days ago, received a message the following day notifying me that the service was ready. I plugged in my BYO modem and internet was available straight away. No set up required, very simple. Called Tangerine hotline and the longest wait was around 15 minutes. Internet speed has been consistent at around 25mbps, hasn’t experienced any drop out at this stage.

Very disappointing service. The internet keeps dropping out and the issue still has not been properly fixed. We both work and rely on a stable connection, but we are now forced to use mobile data instead. The problem still remains the same and the support has been very frustrating. found a better deal with flip internet so called tangerine to cancel. It took them 12 minutes to answer my call, 9 minutes to try p convince me to stay although not Willi g to match Flip's prices and then he put me through to someone he claimed could match the deal and that person said they cant match it then messed about for 11 minutes trying to get me to stay despite Flip being $25 per month cheaper!
Eventually they cancelled my service and said they won't be refunding me for the 3 weeks still left on my plan! It took almost 33 minutes for the entire call. I signed up with flip in 7 minutes!
EDIT: 15 January 2026 despite cancelling my service and informing me that I will not receive a partial refund for what I paid in advance, they have taken out another month in advance even though I am not their customer any more! I'm on hold and it's going to take them 18 minutes to answer my call, they've stolen my money and left me short for other things I have to pay and it will take several working days for them to refund me!!! I'm absolutely furious that they would steal from people like that!!!
Follow-up · After quite a bit of time on the phone, they agreed to refund me only half of the extra month that they charged me. I could take it further and get a full refund but they obviously prey on people who are moving and don't have time to sort it out. to work for a living and can't simply spend hours away from work holding on for them to answer and then a further period of time while they try to resolve the issue. Finally, on day 6 I did manage to get through only for the call to "mysteriously drop" midway through the conversation.
