Hi Jackie, since writing my review a few years ago, the Tefal Mini 0.8L Kettle has been discontinued by Tefal for sale in Australia. My husband has managed to buy one earlier this month (June 2021) online through eBay (EEESHOP.NET.SOC.COOP) for AU$107 however it came from overseas; Netherlands. This means we need to get it to an Electrician to have the power plug changed over to our Australian 3 pin plug. The voltage is correct and the Kettle is brand new; identical to my existing one, so it's only the plug that's different. None of the places listed on the NDIS website currently sell the Tefal MIni Kettle, so eBay was our only option. Happy to get one despite all the extra cost and trouble, as there is nothing like it on the market - so small, light and a very well made product.

Hi June. I just tried Good Guys, Myers & many others and apparently they are not available any more through the Electrical Appliance stores. HOWEVER, as I love my Tefal Mini so much, my husband found them on ebay and has purchased another one for me (as a spare) - cost was $106 plus $8 shipping. Good luck .. I hope you are able to get one online as they are so small and lightweight I couldn't be without mine.

Hi, We have tried so many kettles and cannot find one that is quiet and small, we do not need more than two cups and if we do we will boil it twice, and I have yet to find a jug that can boil at 2.00am and not wake the whole house. It is a real pain in the b....... . Tefal could I ask your clever designers to please build me a quiet one, it cant be hard even if it takes twice as long to boil. Speed does not always give pleasure.

Only had my mini Tefal kettle since 15/04/15 the on off switch no longer works. Not even a year out of it. What is the guarantee on this item?

Hi RitaAnn, Thank you for your question in relation to the Tefal Mini Kettle. This product comes with a 12 month manufacturing warranty so if purchased on the 15/04/2015 your kettle is still well within the warranty period. All you need to do is take your appliance back to the retailer of purchase along with your receipt and they will be able to change over your kettle.

I hope this helps

If you require any further assistance please don't hesitate to contact us.

Thank you

I purchased a Tefal Mini Kettle from Target Geelong this year and I have persevered with it but it dribbles from the spout on pouring and I have had many near misses with boiling water going all over the place. If I have family home, I have to warn them about it and I consider the price I paid for this item, it should not have such a defect in style. The water runs back onto the base and is dangerous where electricity is concerned. My name is Muriel Conole.

That happened to me once when I filled up the kettle over the maximum level. Perhaps you put too much water in it? Maybe my answer helps?

All the best!

No, it dribbles, even when it is filled up to the max level.

Even if mine is filled up to half of the maximum level it still dribbles from the spout. It's a fault in the spout design. I do not believe that water running back on the base is dangerous because the base is sealed.
