quick to debt payment, no communication, 2 weeks+ to dispatch – placed order 30 November. sent 2 emails which received automated reply but no response. now 11 December but no delivery. hopeless. Show details
They send the package with the body shop tape all over it so if it's a present your partner will know exactly where you got their present from. The caramel body wash is soooo strong and overwhelming we can't use it. The other soaps smell repulsive and we also can't use them except for strawberry which seems diluted these days.
I just bought 2 gift packs online that were $19 each. When they arrived I was very disappointed because they were so small.waste of money. Won't buy thete again.

the photos to them immediately. I lodged the details of what happened that day. I then advised staff at Macquarie Shopping Centre shortly after. Only to be told there was nothing that could be done in store and il need to wait 7-10 days for a reply as apparently they are very busy. So am I! So id just like my $49 refunded!
The whole process has been completely unacceptable. For a company that claims to pride itself on helping others, they lack of resolution and accountability is extremely disappointing. A straightforward refund shouldn't require endless delays and excuses.
2 years 7 months old product – Check the batch codes. I purchased items online and 6 items of them are 2 and half years old. The online chat person said just go to the shop and exchange them there. Sounds not easy and hassling. I will go to the shop to change them but I won't buy anything again never. Worried I will get old products again.

Damaged products - Don't buy from this company – I made a purchase of Hemp Hand & Foot cream - both tubes arrived damaged, but by their customer service rep Nevena claims this is totally okay. I wouldn't buy a damaged product in the job, so why would I accept being delivered damaged products okay. Never again will I be purchasing from The Body Shop. I love it – I bought the items online, I was so happy with the face mask it is now my favourite because it drys quickly and leaving my skin bright and smooth. The shower gel smell amazing :) I will definitely buy more.

Really good company - online store and shipped easily – Website was easy to navigate and found the products I wanted easily. Shipping was free, I was able to use a discount code and additional freebies were included. complete miss is - perfumed oil I purchased white musk Hello? Where is the scent? You rub it on and it has a scent for less time than you walk to the fridge for a drink of water. The glass bottle's nice with an embossed body shop symbol so I will be recycling that with something else to put into it. I'm only going to be purchasing the shea scented products from now on because the scent is HEAVENLY but as for the rest... plus one can't get by the history of the founder which is highly documented.

has no manager you can speak with. Only a request can be put in for him to call when he’s next available. No specific time. Probably tomorrow. Really really shocking.
Stock unavailable – Just about all products are OUT OF.STOCK, was told stock coming in December 2024, nothing, the told Jan 2025 online would be first to check and still nothing on shelves or online, keep getting the excuse of delivery, yet you can get the products in UK

emails messages. After going back and forth with customer service there solution is cancel with courier and they will provide a gift card for the difference. Not good enough will not be ordering again. Be aware before you order online as they will not fix their issues and if you are overcharged they will not fix.
Worst customer support – Products never arrived and have been unable to contact customer support for redelivery or refund. They make it so difficult. The worst company I have ever dealt with.
Poor Product – I purchased the Hemp rescue Hand Protector like I have done for the last 10 years and what I received was the "vegan" version which is nothing like the hard cream I have been using. It is terrible. I have suffered from eczema on my hands for a long time and the original version was fantastic and this is a very very poor second. Still got no further, but noticed the order had doubled. Finally rang a shop, to be told that it will not process the order if a shop does not have all the product. Then to be told that I would have to delete that product. which meant I would not get the special discount. Then I realized that I would not receive the order discount as my order was not large enough. The woman admitted that there were many problems with the website. Now i will have to try to find another supplier to purchase, probably an inferior product. NOT HAPPY JAN!!!
Poor online and store customer service re faulty gift cards – Warning. Do not purchase online gift cards because if anything goes wrong they do not help you to rectify it. shop customer support hotline could not help- said that gift cards and gift card issues have nothing to do with them. They gave me an email address for diggecard to lodge a dispute. There is no number to call. I have not heard back. Had to resort to lodging a complaint with my bank to get them to get my money back. Terrible company to deal with. Shame on them.
Rubbish Refund Process - Absolute disgrace – Ordered a few products online with a gift card i received for Christmas and 2 items were missing when the parcel arrived. They ended up giving me a credit as they were out of stock of missing items. Since the credit amount was less than $75 for free shipping they told me not their problem and buy more things to take advantage of the free shipping. Appalling and rude customer service.

Disappointed! – I wish this store kept their database up to date. Order accepted, and then next day, " stock not available " If I hadn't opened the email I would be waiting on Xmas gifts. I won't bother again.

the day they replied to me . I purchased items for a birthday gift for someone and they did not come in time (plenty of time was given for it to arrive in time on my part). I will not purchase from them again as they just take way too long in delivering their products to their customers.
Shame their products are no longer good – Dissapointing that they don't consider their customers who have used and loved their products for decades, only to reformulate them as vegan friendly which turn out being terrible. What I also don't get is why they stopped their perfume oils? I remember back in the day the store would be packed with people around the oils, trying them on, it really was what made the company.

Don't buy an E Gift Card – If you buy an e gift card thinking it's through The Body Shop think again. It's through an outsourced company in Brazil and if something goes wrong eg, it doesn't get delivered, then your only recourse is to email this gift card outsourcing company. Marko from The Body Shop customer service is expert in pointing out that you've been ripped off but it's your fault because you didn't read the fine print that the e'card company is not them, end of story, nothing to do with us anymore. The Body Shop does not care about its customers. At all. I'm a pensioner and they took the little money I had spare for my nieces birthday. So whatever you do, refrain from clicking the e-gift card on thier website and go find a gift some place else. It's just not worth it.
Customer unfriendly feature – I recently purchased 3 items from the online store and only 2 arrived despite the carton contents listing all 3 items.
