The Grout Guy

I had a tradesman at my house today who left the house unlocked. It was my understanding works would be carried out while I could be at work but when I returned home the house was not secure. Very disappointed.

The Grout Guy did some grout repairs for me a little over two years ago. Unfortunately the grout was again coming adrift but they returned promptly to fix the work at no cost. I do recommend this company.

proceeded with the epoxy upgrade specifically for that reason. Now the grout has failed, and despite the written warranty, they are refusing to honour it. Calls and follow-ups have gone nowhere. What was sold as a long-term, premium solution has turned into a costly mistake. A warranty is only as good as the company standing behind it—and in this case, it means nothing. Avoid them for good.

Tarek and Damian were on time and dressed very professionally, we knew who they worked for . The grouting job on the floor ties in both bathrooms was excellent and our En-suite shower re grout was wonderful. All grouts matched perfectly with our old grout. Both men were professional and courteous at all times. Recommend this company.

We had a great experience with Jun from the Grout Guy NSW. Jun did a a fantastic job regrouting our bathroom and laundry. He's polite, punctual and the quality of his work is excellent. We could not believe our eyes when the regrouting and resealing were done!!! It added more value to our house! Highly recommended! Thank you Jun!

I’m writing this review to provide warning for the uninitiated. We obtained a quote to retile our en-suite shower. *No warning about the equipment used to strip the grout, which left a fine film on the ceiling, walls and every crevice in the bathroom. floor ended up a different color to the walls in any event. * A representative came to inspect the concerns we had and agreed that the floor should be redone. When I asked if it would be the same process, he said, yes, we declined as first experience was traumatic enough. * in addition, the seals around the glass had been removed and not replaced, we have to do that ourselves in the end. The finished product is far from the sparkle and shine advertised on the Telly jingle. *This was a particularly difficult time for us, this experience did nothing to ease what should have been a straight forward job. So disappointing! Front of House (Sales) and Back of House (Tradesman) are not in sink. Warning don’t be fooled by the hype of the ads.

The shower now leaks more than when they initially came out. When I called to complain and ask for make good I was told they could re-silicon the shower despite the fact that both the person on the phone and the repair person specifically said that they didn’t recommend that solution. Overpriced and inefficient. Do not use.

Had the them do our onsuite 4 weeks ago then back today 26 Aug to do the main bathroom. I cannot say anything other than Excellent Service and both jobs were professional and we are very happy with the result

Had my ensuite and main bathroom done by Daniel (Vic) he did a fantastic job, his quality of work and customer service was outstanding, Very happy with the results. A great job done. :-)

The contractor who attended was very polite and professional. Visually the grout work was of a high standard. The shower stopped leaking for a few months but within a year the moisture damage continued. Further testing by NRMA shows that the moisture was solely caused by failed shower waterproofing. warranty" and I have just reached out to The Grout Guy to see if this can help. I will update my review accordingly.

EDIT: The Grout Guy were quick to send over someone who redid the silicone along the bottom edges, plus the inside edges of the shower screen which are normally left open for drainage, but in my case of failed waterproofing, those had to be sealed up too. It's not The Grout Guy's job to fix failed waterproofing but they've done everything that they can.

We had a very good experience with The Grout Guy. Everyone turned up on time and the confirmations by text of booking and appointments were very useful. The quality of work was excellent, no mess to clean up and very clear instructions on how to care for the grout afterwards. Hardeep completed our jobs without fuss and on time. Very happy. Simon

Amit helped us regrout 2 bathrooms. From quoting to finish, he showed great patience and professionalism, and delivered high quality work and left the space spotless.

Mohammad (Vic) was excellent, skilled and knowledgeable and one of the cleanest tradie I have experienced. To early to tell if the leak has been resolved hence the 4 stars.

Interaction with The Grout Guys was a great experience. At every stage of the process from request to quote they excelled. Joshua did a fantastic job regrouting our bathrooms, toilet and laundry. We had the shower and vanity re-grouted by Brendan from the Grout guys and he was very polite and very professional in everything he did.We were exceptionally pleased with the entire experience.

Thank you to Hardeep who arrived on time, was very professional and extremely hard working when he regrouted the shower in my family bathroom. The shower looks brand new again and I'm extremely happy with the job.

I am so happy to recommend The Grout Guy. Migel did an amazing job on the wall tiles and floor tiles in my ensuite for me. Add to that the fact that he arrived on time, worked hard and left no mess behind which makes me one very satisfied customer. Ten out of ten from me, Migel!

Please do not use this company,I'm a carer and saved for many years to replace my shower . The grout guys charged over $8000 just for the shower and the shower has leaked every year multiple times. From a rude installer to more damage and leaking showers I highly recommend not to use
