F@#!ng EXCELLENT.... He was here within 15 minutes talked through what he said he was going to do and did the job , removed the hidden stinky rat!. Very friendly and had a good laugh with him also incredibly respectful of my son who has Autism. If there were more stars you would have got them. Great service and value! Jason came out to do a barrier spray on my house, he was kind and knowledgeable. We were concerned about the safety of the spray for our kids to be around it. and he took the time to explain much safer the new solutions are and that once dried (2 hours at most usually) the product is completely safe for pets and kids to be… Read more · 1

From initial contact through to an immediate inspection and return visit a week later, I could not fault Jason’s processional approach, communication and actions. An excellent service, and much appreciated. Show reply
Follow-up · I have had no issues since; everything has returned to normal. The cost for two visits within 7 days, including the laying of some traps and poison, was approximately $360. Money well spent, and I would use them again without hesitation.
As a younger woman living on her own for the first time I had no idea what to do about the scratching I was hearing in the roof and to be honest money is tight but I was not getting up there myself to have a look. I got a call almost straight away… Read more · 2
from Edward and not only did he come at the time he said he would, he explained everything in detail and I felt confident I had made the right decision contacting the company I did. I had called a few other businesses but the prices I was quoted as a base cost and the explanations I was given and in the delivery as to why it was so.. let’s just say it was the reason I decided to look around a little more. The good news is that there is no more scratching sounds and my bank balance looks a lot healthier than it would have been if I didn’t go ahead with what Edward quoted and delivered on. I will be telling anyone who needs a pest control service that The Local Guys and the pest controller Edward, is the only person I will use in future. Really great service from the initial phone call to the follow up call given once the job had been completed. Thank you for making this easy.
Follow-up · The follow up was exactly what it should be, I guess the warranty with the workmanship speaks for itself although I am pleased to say that I have had no issues with scratching from pesky mice since the original visit which I am thankful for.

Technicians were knowledgeable and friendly – Poision used appears to be some what ineffective pending 3rd call out within 3 months to resolve rodent issues
Sam ( Sanjog Tripathi ) was very good & through and a cut above Murray Pest control which i have used previously Clearly more knowledgeable and had practical options which were cost effective I have now engaged him to do a termite review of another property Show reply
Poor follow up and still have issues following 2 weeks following service
Chetan was out promptly, gave me a reasonable quote, explained the limitations of what he could vs could not do in some areas due to access restrictions clearly; explained that there was a risk of rodents expiring in the roof space; potential uptick in activity after baits available. Compared to crawling around in a roof space trying to DIY it, well worth getting a professional IMO. Show reply

My only complaint is that when he gave me the quote he said 240 and then when I went to pay he added on the gst and it was 264 you need to tell the customer the right numbers Show reply
When I called the Local guys they informed me that Reet will be calling me ,which he did in a very short time.He was at my place within 20 mins,as he could fit me in between jobs and traps were set in my roof and around fence line.3 weeks later and 3 dead rats,I called Reet again and he came and refilled the traps, that were empty. Had a great experience with The Local Guys Pest Control. The technician, Anil Shiwakoti, was very polite, professional, and really listened to my concerns. He did a full treatment for insects and carpet beetles, and I’m very satisfied with the result. When I asked him to come back for a re-treatment, he returned promptly without any hesitation. Very punctual, flexible with scheduling, and easy to deal with. Highly recommend! Show reply
