Slab stage has now been completed, and that day really stood out. The staff on site were professional, approachable, and focused on getting everything right. They were happy to explain things and took their time to ensure the outcome was spot on. Our private inspector raised a couple of minor suggestions, and they were addressed on the spot without any pushback, which gave us a lot of confidence.

We have friends building elsewhere who feel overwhelmed by how fast everything is moving, almost like their supervisor is on a mission to sprint to the finish line. In our case, it has felt well paced and considered. The process has been organised, but still calm and collaborative, which makes a big difference.

So far, we are really happy with how things are progressing and appreciate the way the Makaan team has handled our build.

At the office, Saphat introduced me to Sandeep. Sandeep was honest, straightforward, and able to offer us a very competitive price with many inclusions. He explained the tender line-by-line and accommodated all the additional inclusions we requested. The signing of the Tender and the HIA Contract was a smooth and stress-free process, and we were satisfied with all the agreed inclusions.

Design Stage

Makaan Homes has an architect, Marcus, who was extremely patient with us as we modified the design several times. Makaan allowed us to make these changes without charging any additional fees, which we truly appreciated. Marcus was fantastic he managed the space efficiently, ensured the design was functional, and prepared drawings that were approved by the certifier without delay.

Construction Stage

Our site supervisor, Cherry, was also excellent. He was patient throughout the construction stage and always willing to rectify any issues or changes we raised, without arguments. All items in the tender were delivered as agreed. There were no surprise variations the only variations we received were for upgrades we personally chose. Makaan also created a WhatsApp group where they provided weekly updates, which kept us well informed.

Overall Experience

We are very happy with the final outcome. Sandeep is a great person—sincere, straightforward, and someone who will never cut corners or overcharge clients. We got it independently inspected at every stage and no issues reported.

The price was fixed with no escalation whatsoever. The team came up with suggestion on how can we tackle any unexpected issue that would’ve possibly increased the build price.
