Cannot recommend rbc. Very poor communication, – very quick to blame others, blamed site works by owner even though they had their own engineers test and certify the site works. I wven had to pay twice for a soil test .Tv antenna socket didnt work. Had the antenna guy that installed the antenna recheck his work and found a bad connection on a wall plug. laughed at me and said he may of done the damage. Blocked drain,6 showers in and blame the trades that had been after they did hand over. Supervisors poorly trained to deal with customers. Signed house up. 6 months later hit me with a 4.9% increase in price. November 15th 2021 slab gets poured finished house may 2023. Had to pay a building inspector to check over there work because I had no confidence that it was done to code. Over all very dissatisfied with the whole process and rbc team. I am building another house on a year and mark my words I'm staying away from them.

listened to our wants and needs and designed a home specifically and exactly like we had dreamed (but never believed possible). From meeting our our no pressure friendly salesman, to the talented architect who put our dreams on paper. Most builders you beg and grovel for months to speak to someone and still get a junior who doesn't care what you want. Rural gave us the top architect who designs the telethon homes and let us balance our dreams with our budget to find a way we could get everything we wanted! (even a secret garden and gable ceiling). Then we went onto Prestart and she was awesome, like your building mother making sure you have all the little things sorted, and giving us plenty of time to change our minds. (most builders give you 2 hours max for prestart, they gave us a week+!) Then onto building and we have a great supervisor who was easy to contact and kept a close eye on the build. They were flexible letting us adjust things and BYO. The time frame for the build went really quickly, but the quality was really good.

It is now over a year since we moved in. We had our maintenance check up and the only issues we had were a few down pipe issues and some rough plastering. But Rural got onto it straight away and fixed everything up like new.

Previously we went with two very high profile builders who charge a premium for their reputation. They were horrible, pushy, refused to listen to what we needed and then tried to charge us tens of thousands for nothing but a plan that we HATED and wasn't even wheelchair friendly. Don't put up with less than the best. Rural were like family. Totally professional, but they cared and listened.

Amazing first build – Our build in Denmark was our second home we have owned but the first time we have been through the building process. representative was very patient with us with the back and forth to ensure the design was exactly what we wanted. He would visit us at our home and assisted us to get the design and look we were after within our budget.

The girls in the office were then so helpful with with pre-start and understanding the style and design we were after.

Then came the best part, the build! We were extremely fortunate to get an amazing site supervisor. He was so on the ball! We visited site on numerous occasions and would pick up small things which when speaking with our site supervisor, he had already seen and was in the process of rectifying. He was open and honest throughout the entire process and kept us informed on the progress on a regular basis. He made us feel as if our build was as important to him as it was to us. We honestly feel that the build would have been a much more stressful process if it wasn't for our site supervisor.

The workmanship and quality of the build was as we expected and on budget.

We had one issue with loss of power the day after key handover due to torrential rain. One phone call to our site supervisor, and the issue was fixed within an hour. We also have had an minor issue with the leech drains, which Country Builders are in the process of fixing.

We can't thank the team enough for making our first build such an easy and enjoyable process. We would recommend building with Country Builders to others and hopefully we will get the opportunity to build with them again in the future.

Built my paradise – Management was excellent. Staff always approachable and contactable. The workers were always prompt and worked long hours. Quality of the carpentry exceptional in particular and they were very hard workers. A few issues with the installation of the stove by the plumbers which I feel was not done properly and have recently had to have fixed. construction team could have been better and workmanship and build quality varied with the respective trades. While some aspects of the build were of good quality, such as tiling, cabinetry, insulation and brickwork, we were disappointed with a number of other aspects. Internal framework, gyprock, balustrades, painting, window framing and roofing were not of a standard that we were expecting and the internal finish was a let down.

The build took an extremely long time, often with several weeks between anyone turning up. Fortunately we weren't renting while we waited. At times we felt that management of the trades and building process could have been handled more effectively, however issues we raised were dealt with promptly.

Overall we are extremely happy with the design, however the lack of attention to detail and quality of finish left us a little disappointed with the end result.

Sound problems – We bought a Rural Building Home some 12 months ago. This home was 8 years old and we absolutely loved the design of the Bushland Retreat, but just a day or two after moving in we found the sound through the large apex windows was unbearable (traffic noise). costing thousands. Please bear this in mind when you are building one of these homes. It truly is unbearable. No other neighbours around us have such a bad problem, because they don't have the high ceilings or extra large windows. I think we will end up moving even though we love the house. Every single car or bike that passes our house sounds like a thunder bolt.

Overpriced for the product – Our experience with Rural Building was the worst experience of my life. We paid alot of money for a substandard house!! Supervisor was a disgrace, never allowed on site to look at the job or talk about it, the workman ship of the contractors is terrible (to put it mildly), too hard to get contractors back to fix problems (quoted by the Supervisor).....I could just go on and on about the bad experiences and workmanship that Rural Building dish up to clients paying a fortune to get spoken to worse than a contractor who just did the worst job in your new house.

old! I rung the builders to let them know and was told we will do our best to get the house done quick and stress free for you guys! All ready building in the hype and materials/trades been so scarce we didn’t think it would happen. But these guys stayed true to their word, if there was problems we never heard about them they took charge and did their job absolutely amazingly. We had our own ideas on the floor plan of the home we chose and the Staff worked with us and helped us change the Marri View display home to meet our requirements. Beginning from our first contact with the company's Sales Representative, and then the New Home Administrator and finally the Site Supervisor, we have had a good relationship with the company and the cooperation and help received has been well above our expectations.

We have been in our new home for 4 months now. The build quality was outstanding, any issues were resolved promptly and confidence remained very high right up to handover.

We always had a reliable point of contact when we had questions and all the staff members were lovely to deal with. We did have a few misunderstanding at prestart but all were handled professionally and were fixed in the end.

One of the standout point of the build was definatley our supervisor... He was fantastic! He was onsite everyday and was totally on top of the build throughout the whole process, dealing with any issues immediately and very easy to talk to.

We only received keys today but really happy with the overall finish of the house and can't wait to move in!!!

April 8th 2017 Update: Our new home

We have been living in our new home for nearly a year. We have had no problems. We didn't do the 3 month maintenance check as there was nothing wrong!! Happy customers.

All the staff at rural building were helpful and acted promptly during the build and we have no need to contact them since. Still very happy with our new home.

Our dream coming true!!! – We are only at the beginning of construction so our journey has only just begun but it surprisingly has been much easier than we imagined due to the wonderful and supportive staff at RBC.
