Nutmeg is beautiful but sadly the Slats are Plywood, they are rough and coming apart on some of the ends. If I had known I may not have bought it, I'm going to use an old beds pine slats if the fit when I go to turn the mattress, as I'm scared the Plywood Slats will rip the SG mattress.

The product did not meet expectations and has caused significant inconvenience. The delivery guys just left the pieces everywhere, leaving the bedroom in complete disarray and requiring me to wait for a warranty claim now.
I expected prompt and clear communication regarding the next steps to resolve the issue, but instead, I only received automated responses. This has added to the frustration and disappointment with the overall experience.
I would strongly recommend improving both product quality checks and customer support response times.

be told that I would be charged a 30% fee to return plus a pick up fee of around $125 (cant remember the exact amount but thats near it) I asked why I hadn't t been told about the 30% and Helena (Hornsby store) got quite unfriendly and said its in the Terms and Conditions. How about directing me to them before the purchase or using your 'customer service skills' to advise me of them. Honestly, it was all downhill after that, unfriendly, not interested, unhelpful. many places. We reported within 2hrs of delivery and after lot of efforts in sending emails for about 4days with countless photos and videos they blamed our bed base. Such companies should be ashamed of running the business to scam the customers. I shared them photos of our bed base in multiple angles and still they balme our bed base. Worst thing is all this happened in just 4days from the time of delivery. I even asked them to come and take a look by themselves but they don’t have guts to come and look at their faulty product.

I have now slept on the Gold plus balanced comfort for about a week. It is supportive, yet gentle on shoulders and hips when I sleep on my side. I am very grateful that the 30 night comfort guarantee resulted in an exchange for a more comfortable yet supportive mattress. This mattress is also a lighter than the platinum mattress, making it easier to change sheets. The staff at the Kotara Sleeping Giant are excellent and the quality of the mattress for its price is hard to beat.

Made a warranty claim on a mattress I purchased in 2019. Claim was denied as they blamed me for the stitching coming undone. The Sleeping Giant and how this process went. I was very happy and content with my mattress. The staff in the store were great back in 2019 and let me try all the mattresses in the store. The one I purchased is so comfortable and perfect for my back. Now dealing with their warranty staff has turned me off ever buying from them again. They never called, just emailed, never apologised for the mattress falling apart. Obviously an inferior product if it just going to fall apart after only 5 years.
