I love my Sleeping Giant bed. I researched the Platinum and purchased it online for delivery from the Kotara store. Unfortunately the legs on one side collapsed a year later. I have a warranty request in and hope I'm not too late! So, just watch those legs folks. There's only one of me, no kids and no pets... the product, the legs are or can be faulty. Show details

I did that and then their Head Office customer service team began emailing me asking for videos of the fault, batch numbers and requesting that I take more photos of the bed, which I did to the best of my ability. However, I politely told them that I didn't know what a batch number was or where to find it. They then told me they wouldn't fix the issue unless I found it. They later told me it was on the slats. I looked all over the slats and couldn't find it. I took photos of the slats and sent it to them. I told them that the video and microphone on my phone was not sensitive enough to pick up the electrical feedback noise. They then said they won't help me. They told me that they wouldn't send someone out to investigate. The build quality of my bed is AAA grade but the electronics are made of cheap Chinese parts. The phone charger barely even chargers my phone albeit very slowly. DO NOT buy beds from Sleeping Giant that have power, lights or mobile phone chargers attached to them. They will very likely break down and when they do, Sleeping Giant will not help you repair it. I am very, very disappointed. Very poor service. This is appalling.

I can not fault Sleeping Giants customer service. We had an issue with our bed frame, they replaced ot under warranty. The next bed frame was delivered with the same issue. Excellent customer service! – I had ordered a bed from The Sleeping Giant, but realised that the bed wouldn't be right for the people using it & also the size of the room. The Customer Service Team, were so nice & helpful & it was no problem at all to change my order! Most places would say that nothing could be done, which would mean it would have been a costly mistake. However, The Sleeping Giant have excellent customer service, I was extremely satisfied! Mattresses are great! – My children are extremely happy with their new mattresses. The delivery guys were great but I was disappointed that removal of old mattresses were not added to the invoice when requested at purchase in-store. I was not happy that I had to pay an extra $80 for the removal on the day. Show reply

Their customer service clearly does not care about genuine concerns and only responds with generic warranty statements and product disclaimers. For a brand I trusted for years, this has been very disappointing. I would not recommend this mattress or expect helpful support from the company.

pain that long I chose the recommended mattress and paid extra for it. My order was supposed to be delivered on 30/1/25, they did deliver a mattress and when they left I discovered it wasn’t the mattress I paid for. I contacted them immediately to tell them they delivered the wrong mattress and just got fobbed off all day until I finally got hold of one of the customer service agents at their St Marys factory; she assured me that my correct mattress would be delivered this Thursday 6/2/25. Today I received emails from another staff telling me my mattress won’t be available until the end of March with no given date for delivery. They expect me to sleep in pain until then as they’ve taken my old mattress away and left me with the wrong harder mattress. If I had known all of this prior to purchase I would have gone elsewhere or chosen a different mattress. I feel they have taken my money for something they cannot provide. I’m taking this further to the ACCC and any necessary service to either get my correct order asap or my money back!

The customer service representative couldn’t give me an exact date but told me early January which isn’t good enough for a product that we’ve ordered in October. I asked for this situation to be escalated to a supervisor on 12 December. I was told that there was no supervisor available to take my call. We are now without a bed that we ordered on 23 October with no date for delivery in sight. I’d like a refund and the company has told me that they are unable to process a refund at this point in time. I need the money back so that we can purchase from a different company.

online support, asked for a return and refund but that was refused, instead they sent out 2 people to try and fix it. I still wasn’t confident in the bed and noticing even more how flimsy the frame is even after band aid repairs. I didn’t feel safe so again asked for a return and refund on the same day.
I then called the company to tell them to speak to the men who came to fix the MULTIPLE problems with the bed- oh no! Apparently they don’t speak to them or get any feedback, they are just tradespeople and don’t work for sleeping giant!?? Must rely on my videos apparently. Which is RIDICULOUS. The leg that came off the bed has a screw that is loose and won’t tighten, I told the repair people this and it’s still loose. So sleeping giant requested MORE videos and photos about what I’m talking about. In these videos sleeping giant accused me of not using the bed as intended due to me showing how the frame was bending when pressure was applied, it’s relevant because this frame is directly holding up the legs which so easily just fell off!!

Overall frustrating and disappointing experience made even more challenging by staff who know they are selling inferior products and trying to move you along.
I just want my money back so I can get a bed that is safe.
I’ve now lodged a complaint with ACCC and consumer affairs hoping that no one gets hurt when another one of their beds collapses.
I’m please to update that the company FINALLY agreed to refund me the bed. I just wish they wouldn’t make it so difficult, especially when the product itself was faulty and poor quality!! I’ve now had my NEW bed delivered from OZ DESIGN, and the difference in quality is night and day.

I have now requested a refund as the product and service I paid for has not been delivered and I strongly urge anyone thinking of buying a bed from this store to stay away! If I could give negative rating instead of 1 star I would, this has been the most disappointing online order I have ever dealt with. Ripped off – Had my mattress delivered Saturday 2/11 and on Monday 4/11 they had a 50% off sale. Very annoyed.

Their mattress only last 3 yr and start to ware off! Dishonest on their product! – Brough the mattress few time from them. And on secound one. Their mattress not even last for 4 yr. When I finally decided on the items that I’m buying, I find out it is $50 off full priced items only at the end of the checkout when the code didn’t work.
This is quite time consuming. So I gave SG the benefit of the doubt that I must have not read properly before signing up. So I went and tried again as a new person. Well what do you know, NOWHERE does it say ANYTHING about FULL PRICE items ONLY from beginning to end.
Only after you sing up and respond to their message with a Y FOR YES that you agree to receive marketing then the $50 code would be emailed.
It’s like SG team purposely did this to steal peoples data and add them to the data base to spam SMS and email. Then when you get that far of picking the items you want, people would spend the extra $50 anyway as they have spent all that time! Look I can afford to pay the extra $50 but the way SG has gone about it, I refuse to support that model. Im a business owner myself and this is disgraceful. over five months for two of the items.! Difficulty in contacting them via their 1300 number. It would go around in circles at some stages and again no follow up.
Be aware when ordering online if you are ordering a couple of items, they’ll only deliver them when all of those items are in stock…. The communication during the ordering and delivery process was only initiated by myself, limited follow-up by sleeping giant.

Wrong parts, not attending scheduled appointment for repair. No contact details – I purchased a Clemence gas lift bed during black friday deals with $80 delivery and $100 for bed set up and rubbish removal (I think an excellent deal). use the bed but as the mattress frame is not fixed it's damaging the bedframe.
Part of the bed was also damaged (which I was offered $60 for inconvenience). This seemed low considering delivery was $80, set up was $100 and the bed was over $1000 ($2500 retail). I negotiated a replacement of the damaged part instead.
After almost a week wait for an online reply, for some reason I couldn't reschedule a time for a service person to come out like the original delivery, I could only choose the day. I waited all day for an afternoon delivery slot (which is texted the night before) and they did not turn up. There has not been a follow up call. Communication has been difficult and two weeks after initial delivery I still don't have an assembled bed.

No service, and Items that are stated ´In Stock´ are not in stock! – I ordered a King Single Bed Frame Online on the 4th of December and it was stated that it was in stock! Well I am still waiting for over a week now, and all I have in my status that it is in process, whatever that means! I called the customer line and had to hang up after waiting for 2 hours! I bought a bed frame which was delivered damp and mouldy../they replaced it with a new one within three days which was great. However, I have just discovered that the slats a too small for the frame and constantly fall down! It’s not worth the pain, time and money to go with them.
