dimensions are the customers responsibility so they won’t give a refund. How can you con people like that and still be in business. It’s not like it’s $10 you’re taking for nothing… it’s more like a week’s salary. We didn’t even accept delivery, so they still have their mint condition mattress.

He was professional and calm to deal with (in comparison to the distasteful, ‘hard sell’ experience we had had immediately prior in the neighbouring bed store). morning we had a 2.20pm medical appointment. No delivery by 2.10pm so had to leave the house but we informed the store and they said they would inform the delivery guys. They obviously didn’t as we got a call from the delivery guys at about 3.30pm whilst at the appointment to say they were at our house and we would have to pay for another delivery if they couldn’t leave it. It was left undercover at our front door. We arrived home at 5.45pm but had no hope of moving the furniture inside (far too heavy) as we are seniors in a retirement village. To make matters worse, the furniture was left upside down! It has been extremely inconvenient to move the furniture inside without appropriate equipment. We will not be purchasing from Sleeping Giant again. There has been no follow-up from the store. We have never had a problem or complaint about a service before despite liaising with stores and having numerous furniture delivered over the years.

This is the second time in less than 2 years I’ve had the exact same issue with a mattress from Art & Science—severe sagging in the middle, with no spring support, leaving me waking up with constant back pain. Their warranty process is frustrating and dismissive. I’ve sent several emails, provided all the evidence they asked for, and even requested a refund under Australian Consumer Law, but they’ve stopped responding altogether.
Now I’m forced to buy a new mattress from another brand—money down the drain and months of back pain. Would not recommend.

informing me that the bed was in store and could be delivered on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. I was asked to choose a delivery day, so I selected Thursday 20/3/2025.
As I live in an apartment, I am required to book the lift in advance for large deliveries. The only available time slot for the lift on Thursday was from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. When I contacted your team to confirm delivery within that time frame, I was told that you could not guarantee a specific time and that the driver would inform me on the morning of delivery.
Due to this uncertainty, I had to speak with my building manager and was able to extend the lift booking to 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM on Friday 21/3/2025 . Again, I reached out to your store, hoping to coordinate delivery within these extended time slots, but I was once again told that the delivery time would only be confirmed on the morning of the delivery day.
This is extremely inconvenient, as the lift must be shared with other residents who are also moving in or out. I cannot book the lift last-minute or keep it reserved all day, as it would be unfair to others. Despite explaining this situation to your team, I was met with no assistance or flexibility in scheduling.
I am very disappointed with this lack of support. I kindly request that you reconsider your delivery process, especially for customers who live in apartments and require advance scheduling. I urge you to provide a clear delivery window (morning or afternoon) so customers can make necessary arrangements.
Please let me know how you can assist in ensuring a smoother delivery process. I look forward to your response.

Started out well but when they delivered the mattress the delivery man damaged my custom-made bed with his cutting knife and even took the piece of wood with him.
