Horrible and misleading – Don’t buy from this company. They mispriced half the store’s bed bases and then refused to honour the price. After several calls to ‘head office’ they finally honoured the price. We were told we’d get free shipping so when we went to pay, we were shocked to realise that they refused to honour what they told us. The staff are poorly trained leading… Read more

Below par customer service – I have been a customer for over 5 years across 2 states. The products are great but at my last visit the customer service just left a bad taste. My 5 year old son just sat on a bed ever so gently and got told of. Another child came in jumping with his shoes on from one bed to another and all three there were absolutely quite. I don't like to play the race card. But I think a little more training can go a long way Show details

My go to – The sleeping giant are the dream team at maribyrnong. Harry, Jeff and Axel helped me pick out the best mattress and bedside tables for my new bedroom. Friendly nature and they dont force you to buy and will give u the best recommendations for your bed. Within budget too. Wrong screws for the bed. Not perfect condition – I bought a couple of pieces from here as I’ve moved into a new place. The bed I received apparently made from different factories and so the bed (which is only 2 pieces) weren’t a match for each other. Foolishly I purchased a mirror from their sister store (the staff there are lovely). Having been through such a drama I was not at all impressed and then speaking to the in store person at SG made me seriously consider returning everything. I’m hoping I’m not making a huge mistake keeping it.

Excellent service – Harry was indeed knowledgeable, having worked in the industry for 20 years. He was honest and forthcoming with all the details of T&C. He recommended the correct types of products (bed frames and mattresses) for the right budget. He was also friendly and indeed helped complete my wondering shopping experience! Very slow delivery times – The waiting time to get a mattress from sydney to their melbourne depot in trugannina is 4-6 weeks. Also, they wont deliver to the store. You have to go and pock it up at their warehouse or pay $80 delivery, what a con. Show details
