What are the temperature numbers on this oven equal to
They are in your oven manual. If don’t have maybe google the manual
I have only just found these posts and find them very interesting as we have some of the same problems. When igniting the oven it will sometimes ignite first or second time while at other times it can take us to 10 minutes to get it to ignite. The fan sometimes turns off after use but mostly we have to turn off power supply to the van and wait 15 minutes, turn power back on and fan will have stopped. It’s frustrating but we are leaning how to cope with it. At the moment I am trying to work out how to remove a gas hob which seems to be blocked. Any clues?
Just used ourThetford Mk3 caprice duel fuel fan forced oven in our caravan and it ignited successfully but noticed burner goes out when fan works. We ignited repeatedly and successfully but doesn't stay on due to fan. Anybody have thIs problem or a solution?
Hi Josie. I also have this problem. Oven flame stays on when the fan is not running. I have contacted Thetford a number of times and they have inspected the oven yet are unable to solve the problem.
The same with us. Have had 0ven checked and they say all is ok with no problems. Going out this Easter and we'll see if there us a problem or not.
Yep taken our caravan out and wouldn't you know it. Put oven on and 15min later its turned off. Repeatedly turned on and still turned off. Thinl somehow fan has something to do with it. Disappointing
Mine does this as well. I thought I must have had too large a dish in the oven
Has anyone found out what is causing this problem? My solution is it turn the fan off at the switch which in my van is located at the back of the cupboard next to the stove. With the fan turned off the oven is working perfectly as it should.
