Tick Travel Insurance - Domestic Top

I haven't used Tick Travel Insurance before having relied on credit card travel insurance however their recent quote for domestic travel had me looking elsewhere . I found the process to be quite easy to navigate and I hope that I have understood it all correctly. I first downloaded the policy PDF and studied it to see if it met my needs, which it did, then I stepped through the application process. dinner, breakfast and a final lunch before getting two QANTAS seats at around $600 each back to Brisbane. We had further costs with a taxi in Brisbane. Absolutely none of this was claimable through TICK. Our premium paid would have been much better served contributing to the extra costs. We have previously used TICK, but never had a need to lodge a claim.

Better than average – Difficult to navigate medical assessment. Repeatedly highlighting back button to go through another condition and unable to confirm exclusions and move on. Also why is it necessary to have a minimum of thirty words in a review? also travel not yet commenced. Please check dates of policy. Show details

Car hire excess not suitable – this is my fourth insurance, and previously I would have rated it a 5 star, but I note on this one the car excess has dropped to 3000, for this reason I will look elsewhere as my company requires us to have a minimum of 4000 in car excess.. I have used tick insurance a number of times and had to claim twice. Each claim was handled efficiently and quickly with no hassles. They are far cheaper than other companies yet offer good products and great service. i would highly recommend them for domestic or international travel. Show details

Have used Tick Travel Insurance a few times over the last few years, and I have always felt secure. Not worth risking travel without Insurance – In this day and age (post COVID) especially, it's just not worth taking a risk and travel without Travel Insurance. You hope never to have to claim on it, but it's there - just in case. that's what insurance is for. A safety net for your peace of mind. I found the site easy to navigate and understand. Wait & See – This is our first Travel Insurance cover with TICK TRAVEL. Very easy to set up and it appears to be good value for the money. something like that happened to me I was so frustrated and didn't know where to start. The lady on the phone checked my policy and talked to her supervisor and then confirmed I was covered for up to $1000 for accommodation and meal but rental car. After hearing that, it was such a relief, and I took my family straight to an accommodation and checked in right away. I even collected some receipts for meals. Now they are saying I'm not covered for anything because flooding is a natural disaster and give me stupid terms which I didn't even check because the lady on the phone already checked everything for me. Now I'm stuck with the hotel/meal bills whereas I could ask my friend for 3 night stay. What a dumb and irresponsible insurance company it is. They are also refusing the fact they confirmed my claim prior, they should have a recording of me and the lady's conversation, don't even bother to check. Run away people not worth it!

Rail trip cancelled due to Covid. TICK refuse to pay up – Family rail trip to Perth cancelled due to border closures. Trip was the last chance for a family get together/90th birthday party. Railway offerred credits but will not guarantee same trip for same cost. Parents now unable to travel due to health conditions. Both TICK and the railway refuse to refund. Show details

Very Happy with Tick Customer Service – I had a previous claim in 2019 after an accident and medical relocation back home during our Kimberly Safari. new claim in progress with Tick for out of pocket expenses incurred to date to resume the itinerary in 2021. Tick is responsive and I am very happy with the progress of my new claim. I would recommend Tick Insurance highly, based on my personal experiences. Graham Bennett
