$9000 wort of clothing and items. Horrible experience, but nothing compared to being told that our insurance would only cover $500 for items stolen from a car. Basically we were robbed twice. Once in Rome and again by Tick travel insurance. Do not use these guys!!

Bad experience. They didn’t pay for my medical expenses overseas under the claim that the amount claimed was under the excess. The problem is that I didn’t click on any excess when purchasing the policy. They added it automatically without me knowing. I never get excess when I travel overseas! yet, what's the point of this review? What relevant about all those other 5star reviews where the reviewer hasn't travelled or tried to claim?

Taking out the policy was tricky, at the end of the checkout process there is another optional extra for natural disaster coverage, I need to read the pds again, should I, shouldn't I? The whole process takes forever if your diligent. Then rinse and repeat for other insurance companies. That's why we read reviews, to see if they pay out for legit claims or not.

Trash insurance. Our flight was delayed for 41 hours due to bad weather.
