Tiffany OVT01 Questions & Answers
MPNs: 1327, OVT01 and TIF-OVT01who carries tiffany bowls? Ours cracked. Retailers dont stock them..... Help
Mine also cracked, not sure why. It cracked but didn’t break so I have just kept using it (several years now). I figure, for the bargain price I paid for the oven I have lost very little if it breaks. In the meantime I will look in the op shop for a ceramic pot about the same size.

The tiffany convection oven fan has stopped working. How do I fix it? It has never been used and I purchased it second hand. Is there anything I can do?
There is a safety switch under the handle. If the handle isn’t pushed down the unit will not operate. You could try lifting the handle and pressing the safety button in to see if that is the problem.
Thank you, the heating element is working so I assume the safety button is doing it's job. I will give it a go tomorrow. Hopefully this will work. Thanks again :)
Does the glass is dishwasher safe?
I would assume so. It is designed for high temperatures.

Can I replace the glass bowl for my convection oven ovt01. If so where?
If they are no long longer available would Tiffany have any spare bowls?
Perhaps JB Hifi might be able to order one for you. That is where I bought my oven.
thankyou Russ
What temperature and how long do I cook 2 chicken breast in convection oven?
I haven't cooked chicken breast but have done with whole chicken. From memory is around 1 hour. I did check at least once at the middle mark and decide then how long more I'd need.
Hi, probably a silly question, but can my tiffany oven cook food from frozen?
Thanks for your question Alex. Sorry I dont have the answer.
If you are thinking of cooking frozen packet foods, often they have cooking instructions. My guess is follow the one for Oven.
Cheers,
Is there a reason why this model has been discontinued ? Am/was about to purchase this model.
Probably because of the way the cord touches the hot surface of the appliance. It could create a fire hazard apart from damaging the cord.
How do I make my pork have crispy puffy skin which the family loves so much?
I haven't tried roast pork in the small oven but I see no reason why it would be any different to using the larger oven. I would use the extender ring and I would have some liquid in a bowl underneath to keep the moisture in. Make sure you have lots of salt on the skin and bake at about 180deg to start and then brush off any excess salt and finish cooking at full temperature (230deg if you can get it). Cooking time obviously depends on the size of the roast but the finishing time would probably be for about 40 minutes. Good luck!
Can I cook a cake in this oven?
Yes!
Certainly. This oven is similar to an ordinary fan forced oven but doesn't take a lot of time to get to temperature. Cooking a cake, I would use the extension.
Yes certainly. The manual also includes recipe. But I dont do cakes so can give any recommendation.
Anybody know where to buy one in Sydney?
JB Hi Fi has it external link
JB HI-Fi has the Tiffany turbo convection oven for $59 at the moment, I bought one 2 weeks ago and it is the best value for money cooker. Super fast, quiet and. very easy to clean. The roasts I have made in it are better than an electric oven and alot quicker.
I have had mine for ova 5 years and tonight I chipped the glass bowl :( where can I buy a replacement bowl?
Unfortunately you cannot buy any parts, they won't sell to you. I have rung the factory and every where else possible. They said they come all packaged up and do not sell soare parts. I only wanted the lid cause the fan stopped working, but was unsuccessful. I only bought a complete new one today cause I really loved the product. I was told they only last 2-3 years.
Hi where can I find the perforated tray & muffin tin to fit please
I could never find any muffin tray to fit this oven, so I use individual silicone muffin cups instead.
Hi there i am looking at buying one of these. Can you still recommend it? many thanks
Hi tanbry20,
Absolutely, its been the busiest little oven in the house, still works perfectly and still cooks to perfection.
Happy cooking.
