Todo HHB1770 Questions & Answers
MPN: HHB-1770Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review for the benefit of others like me. I have one of these kettles 'in my cart' (eBay) but will be promptly taking it out of 'my cart' and replacing it with something else that will last more than a few months! (my previous kettle lasted me years, despite not even having been a 'branded' kettle). So, thanks again!
It's a shame that ours lasted for such a short while as it was a nice looking kettle. The company did replace it with another one, but it was a different model and not a glass one and so far it has been working okay. Cheers
My TODO kettle model HHB1771 APP NO. TUV020586EA has stopped working. It still under warranty purchase date was 30 August 2021. Please let me know what to do next and who’s to contact. Please respond ASAP as I urgently needed a kettle. Thanks. Agnes Fabay, mob. 0421812156

Depending on where you purchased it you may be able to obtain a refund. I doubt you will hear back from the manufacturer, Todo. I never did so contacted the company I purchased the item from. I eventually received a refund from OO.com after informing them of the issue even though the product was over the 6 month warranty period.
Is there a warranty for my 5 month old HHB1771 automatic cordless kettle?
From memory the warranty is 6 months. My kettle was older than that however I got a refund from OO.com after I said I would go to the dept of fair trading. I never did hear back from Todo. I would never buy any of their products again.
The minimum warranty period on small appliances under Australian Consumer Law is 12 months- not 6. Todo don’t get to ignore the law by halving the warranty, and neither does the retailer you buy the small appliance from.
