Total fraudsters – I've had to pay over $400 to get work done that I paid them for. I wish I had have read these product reviews before I engaged them. Stupid me. I'm going on every internet review site as possible. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Same as other comments – Hi everyone, if anyone knows how to shut them down let me know. I lost hundreds of dollars with this so called cleaning company. I have reported them but nothing seems to be done. They find people on Gumtree the night before they come to clean. If they don't turn up they don't care and won't refund your money. This company is so fraudulent. Please let everyone don't use this service. You will be ripped off.

Bond Cleaners Still operating in Oz – Same exact story as plenty of those below but different company name. I think it may be same operator. Nice quote and booking, then no communication ..delayed cleaning until after we paid then only did a small part of what was paid for...And after the move out date! Make sure you find cleaners with a real world address in your locality that you can check.

Total DOmestic – How is this company still operating??? Please tell me they have been shut down. what can be done to shut them down I had the same experience. A no show the day before i was meant to move interstate. I had no other option but to pay the real estate top dollar to do there own end of lease cleaning. I started the process of trying to shut them down but was sent around in circles.

Fraudulent business – As with the 42 other reviewers, we had an unbearable experience with this supposed cleaning company. Cleaners turned up 4 hours late and blamed the traffic before breaking a window in our rental property. They did not attempt to clean the house, instead decided to make it dirtier. Still have not paid for the window - what a joke.

they would organise a serperate clean for tomorrow. I pre-paid $608 in advance, on the belief it would be a full clean of a large apartment, including steam cleaning of carpets and blinds. In short - I have been ripped off. This company is a fraud - do not use them. I will be informing both Consumer Affairs and plan to raise the profile of this issue so others dont get 'taken to the cleaners'.

unsuitable for us as we had to be out the day after the clean, they didn't actually come until 2 days later which meant we had to pay extra rent to keep the house keys for this time. When they eventually came our neighbours saw that they had 2 big dogs with them and were letting them run around our house while they were cleaning it. They claim to come back and redo anything that doesn't pass a bond clean however when a number of things weren't cleaned properly in our house and we didn't pass bond, we attempted to contact them a number of times by phone, email, text, to no avail. They didn't even give us the courtesy of picking up and saying they wouldn't fix it, they just completely ignored us. Absolutely disgusting customer service, I'm surprised they're still allowed to operate despite the fact that a number of people seem to have contacted Fair Trade.

Expensive. Didn't show up when they were supposed to. Poor customer service. Dogs running around our house. Clean wasn't done properly. Totally ignored us when we tried to contact them.

The promised (and paid for) carpet cleaning never occurred. Now of course the agent has issues with the clean and I will never see my money again.

Beware – Do not, I repeat do not fall for this fraudulent company. They take booking accept your payment by direct debit and then do not turn up. no stars – What a joke! Total Domestic does not do what they say let alone turn up to the appointment! I failed to check reviews prior to booking and ended up $300 less. Now I have to search for another 'trustworthy' company to do my bond clean at last minute notice! Definitely going to Fair Trading on this one, this company needs to be shut down.

the cleaners were sick and would come on Sunday. Since I already paid I let it happen and when Sunday rolled around no one showed up or called. I tried to email and leave voicemails several times asking for a refund but was never replied to. I have now filed a claim with Fair Trade NSW so we'll see what happens. It appears she is a one person scam job out of the Gold Coast. I feel like a complete moron, but I really hope she can somehow be stopped.

When they didn't show the next day I tried to call the company and email [name removed], to no avail. It was at that point I performed a Google search and found out that this is standard practice for this company, and that I was going to lose the $530 I'd parted with, as well as be left with a dirty rental property and an irate real estate agent.

Do not even consider using these thieves.

I have filed a complaint with Consumer Affairs Victoria, but do not see how I will be getting back the money I have lost

We have lodged several complaints with the office of fair trading NSW. Do not use - Liars and frauds – We have filed a consumer and trader complaint with QCAT against this company for failing to deliver promised services and lying about doing so. Our lengthy complaint involves multiple failures to turn up, limited and poor work, work not done, and refusal to honour their own terms and conditions. Their telephone numbers are either disconnected or never answered, and their official address moves mysteriously. Do not hire this company.

Glad we didn't pay a cent – After initial correspondance, no replies to emails or phone calls. Lucky we didn't outlay any money. Whilst initial correspondence looked promising and the costs looked reasonable, when asked for more information, which we provided, we heard nothing. Left phone messages and nothing. turn up after 1/2 hour. The said there was an 'emergency'. I think they never intend on turning up to bookings, so do not book them. I had to take an annual leave day and clean the whole apartment myself. It is totally unacceptable and they should not be operating as a business.

cleaners have not done a satisfactory job as there are areas that they have not done to a satisfactory standard.

These include walls which has many dirty marks and ink marks, window tracks, top of kitchen cupboards, drip tray inside the oven. In and around the dishwasher. Ceiling fan blades, all venetian blinds. The back door from the garage is dirty. The carpets have not been cleaned or vacuumed at all and there are many ink marks and stains.

I have emailed & called, even texted & now I get no replies, no answer & no returned phone calls!

relevant authorities who advised me they can get my money back so I'm going through that process currently. If you get caught out too and receive no refund I'd advise you to do the same.

checking their voicemails for a while. Eventually I got an email from them apologising that they were running late on the day and were also moving offices so couldn't check their voicemail.

So they came the next day... well then I get a 2 page report from the real estate agent with an extensive list of items which needed attention - so their quality of cleaning was obviously very poor.

So, I tried calling them - a number of times - funnily enough, nobody at Total Domestic seems to be able to pick up the phone.

Numerous emails, still no response. I'm now past the lease expiry date, so liable for further rent as the property is still not acceptably clean.

As with Paddington123's review of last week, stay well clear of Total Domestic. Even though [names removed] somehow have been lucky enough to get good service & cleaning, this company obviously has no ability to provide a consistent level of service.

Total Domestic have provided By Far the worst customer service I have experienced in many many years. They were cheaper than competitors won't pick up the phone, won't return phone calls, slow to respond by email, poor quality cleaning, didn't attend on time.

Worst cleaning company - don't recommend – I recently booked the Brisbane based team to complete our home clean. we asked him what happened he denied it, walked off the job without finishing. Even worse, the company won't answer our calls, respond to our emails or communicate with us in any way to discuss what happened. I'm now out of pocket for the upfront payment, damage to the bench and additional rent owed as a result of not being able to return the keys to the real estate plus I now have to go back and finish the clean. So disappointed and frustrated with the lack of ethics and professionalism.
