And also my friends often find me when I am driving . Mirror is move easy and very clear . And navigation is easy touch panel . I love it. Really so easy to use even when I am driving . And there have hands free phone too. You can use swich bottuns on handle for volumes and changing channels for radio and get phone call too. Phone can connect by Bluetooth. seats are adjustments by hand bar and easy puss and move to forwards and back.even child can do it. Very light . And seats are made by fabric .this is only bad things . My child often eat foods in the car and make dirty . I should cover seats before I use. Front seats have a two cup holder near hand brake.and also CDand DVD player . You can show your child DVD in your car too. But maybe not so easy to see from back seats. Price were around 24000$ . Mine was sports type . It is good price too. There are more cheap car like other brand car. But Toyota car is always good quality and service and maintainance.i go to maintain car every months. And I go to Toyota shop for it. They have courtesy bus and they can bring you home and pick up when finished car maintenance. They are very polit too.

stability control), ABS, 7 airbags and a good stereo system. Fuel consumption is OK not fantastic for a 1.3L hatch averaging about 7L/100km.

Suspension can be a bit jiggly on uneven road surface but overall it absorb shocks pretty well for a small car. Power is sufficient-just but will struggle if travelling with 4 adults on winding country roads with uphill and downhill. For the money, I am satisfied with what this car has to offer and for short distance low occupancy commute.

As a car enthusiast, this car will be easy to maintain as there's heaps of space in the engine compartment to work with. In my opinion, this car is decently built and will serve my family for the next 10 years or so without much of a hiccup.

After being driven into at 60kmphr, and hit in the front left section of the car, no airbags deployed. I later learned that airbags require velocity to deploy. Perhaps this is standard across the range, but if you look at the Kia Picanto with its specially designed chassis built for strength in mind, the Yaris cannot compare. The Yaris is not made with safety in mind, and in a crash situation, my impression is that it's not going to fare as well as some other small cars.

Major concern 2) No rear disc brakes. More alarming for me was the lack of disc brakes at the rear wheels. The drum brakes are adequate for stopping at regular speeds but as an Uber driver who drives constantly and in all kinds of weather, I found them lacking. The ABS is weak to non existent and the drum brakes have locked up on occasion in emergency braking situations. This alone would stop me from buying a Yaris again, and make me consider the importance of disc brakes in a car going forward. DO NOT buy this car if you value emergency braking, braking from high speeds, or for anything more than going to the shops. The wheels WILL lock up. That is my advice.

Major concern 3) I bought this car for fuel economy. The 1.3ltr engine not only delivers worse fuel economy than the 1.5, but higher consumption than I'd expect for such a small capacity engine. I will frequently get in the mid to high 8's using a range of fuel from 91 to 98 even for relaxed driving. I really expected much better from the engine and can only put it down to Toyota's lack of engine development, perhaps resting on the laurels of their name. What you save in service costs you might be paying back in fuel consumption. I'm unsure how others are getting a claimed 500kms - this hasn't been possible from day 1 I purchased the car.

Minor concern 1) The aircon is weak. Simply put, to feel anything, you need to have it on the 3rd or 4th setting. Adequate at best. 2) The media unit's music seek track up/down buttons are too far away. I am 5'10 with long arms. I have to sort of reach over to manually change the music track. Yes I can do so with the buttons on the wheel, but sometimes I want to reach over to change them. The hazard-lights button is to the right of the media unit. I believe Toyota should have put it above, and bought the media system closer to the driver. It is strange to me that it has to be 'reached'.

Minor concern 3) Suspension not the best. It doesn't handle bumps well, and if loaded with people, it will bottom out on speed bumps. Getting in and out of the car, you will hear the suspension creak.

4) Poorly designed gear gate. Short throws are nice but it doesn’t slot into the required gear intuitively and you have to look where you’re putting it.

Hope these are things you might consider carefully before buying the Yaris. Consider all options carefully, just because it’s a Toyota doesn’t mean everything is perfect.

Paint started peeling – Car used for commuting to work. Mainly parked under cover. Car used approx 5 days per week Serviced as per schedule No mechanical issues Issue with paint peeling at approx 6 years old. Peeling all along bottom of back window and spots of peeling paint on roof and bonnet. It is the clear coat that is peeling. Such a reliable car – I just use this car for running around the city. It is easy to maintain. Cost effective. I like that seats can go down so I can slide surprisingly large items in! would highly recommend you use 95 Octane as I get a crap ton of more k's that way, and when youre about to do a highway run fill er up with 98 Octane, That way you have more power and amazing fuel Economy, don't forget to give the old girl a boot now and then on acceleration to clear her up and stop it from getting lazy..

I find that it runs really nicely, but when I have a couple of passengers, heavy luggage or a motorway to drive up-hill on then I feel the lag and notice the smaller engine (I previously had a 1.5 Prius engine).

I got the extra protective coating to help fight against bat/bird droppings and I love that too!

It has saved me so much time – I drive my car everywhere, to university, work and other events practically almost everyday. One downside may be the boot space, but its only slightly inconvenient when I have bulky items which is rare.
