Worst every experienced
Very bad internet connection. 12 mbps is only applicable, if you have one device connected. They have now also cancelled their phone support, if you would like to make any sort of query, you will have to wait for hours in one of the queues on their website.
What a horrible product!
Frequent dropouts (at least 5 times a day), and the speed is much lower what they promised.
Tried calling them and they were completely useless! Avoid at all costs!
No service, no response, itz terrible TPG
I was using TPG nbn for the last one year. 3 weeks back I requested a moving house NBN request. They don't answer, they have gone to chat mode/ sleep mode. I wait hours & hours days after days to get a Chat line, then after 5 hours of waiting, i get a response telling i have come to a wrong department (meanwhile someone yells at me swearing) & then they close the chat. Then i try again another 5 hours, no response, no outcome. TPG don't know what they are doing 'remotely'. No phone calls allowed. It's a difficult time as we are working from home with no internet, children on home schooling online without internet. What a mess TPG.
Shame on you for new responding to our desperate plea.

Appalling service is all i can say... Constant drop outs, never any warning when these will occur etc etc... Time to move on to someone who can offer a decent service... We are after all living in the 21st century now...
AVOID TPG : Disgusting customer service, Slow speed
Currently I am on NBN FTTC M Bundle Standard $49.99
On the 27/03/2020 I received notification about excessive data usage and shaping my speed to 128 kbps
But in a reality my speed far below 128 kbps. Any my attempt to resolve this issue failed: TPG customer support employees work from home and no one answers the phone. Clearly understandable, COVID-19 is rapidly spreading up. TPG uses chat to communicate with the clients. Waiting to chat with the customer support can take up to two hours. I had a chance to chat with five different people and no one helped me.
They simply stop commucating via chat, they disappear leaving you waiting. No phone calls back, just nothing I also tried to upgrade my NBN plan but with no avail.
slower than ADSL
I made the change to the NBN at the beginning of the year and I have been nothing but disappointed. It very much is slower than my ADSL connection, regardless of what TPG says about positions of modem and changing wireless channels. Then there's the added disappointment of drop outs that I never experienced previously. To be fair, I doubt it's really TPG's fault, the NBN is the true culprit of this crap.
Terrible Customer Service
Waited 3hrs on chat line to upgrade my existing NBN plan. Wanted to ask a few questions. Got told unable to help me due to system upgrade and closed chat
I experienced very slow service and I was on NBN 12 which is 29.99 package. I use the service for very basic activities and I was told that my usage is high and to increase the package.So they they will put me on NBN50. It has been still the same but I have been paying 49.99 all this time but with the same package service of NBN 12. They have charged me extra 20 dollars each month and providing me a very low quality service. I had to work from home since last Thursday and I was unable to do my duties and what is extremely frustrating is none of...the customer service is approachable via phone and they are saying they give online chat service which is crap. I have wasted the whole day today without been able to talk to anyone and TPS is a cheating company. This is ridiculous!!
No customer service after they sign you up
Long time customer for all services but when they stuff things up you can’t contact them or if you do, it’s with people that have crap reception which is another issue in itself. Hopeless hopeless!

sham company should not be allowed to trade
australian telco ombudsman should shut this company down as misleading . we have internet with this company for 18 months and in that time it has been out of action for around 3 months on and off. overseas call centre people are very hard to understand ,(not blaming them) but am changing to an australian based company and call centre . would say to anyone check this companies reviews before you sign up
Very slow internet!
Been using TPG for a while and recently updated to nbn but I found the internet is much slower than the previous ADSL, what a joke!
Now I’m even struggling in writing this review as the wifi is nothing but SLOW!!!

I'm on the $59.99 NBN plan. Slow, unreliable internet. Internet frequently cuts out without warning. It sometimes takes days to fix. Their technicians generally don't have any idea what they're doing.
They cancelled my plan without warning and without my approval and tried to get me to pay $99.95 to reconnect it. I have spent well over 3 hours on the phone with 'customer support' (they call it that, but they in no way offer any support whatsoever). It's been 2 weeks and I still don't have my internet back.
Customer service staff are outsourc...ed to the Philippines. They are invariably unhelpful and incompetent, but this is TPG's fault for being so cheap and deliberately refusing to contact customers directly. TPG is absolutely appalling in every way. The way they conduct business is borderline criminal. It might genuinely be impossible to find a worse service provider.
TPG doesn't give a crap about customer service
I had an issue with the internet connection (the NBN box went faulty), so I reported to TPG. And they asked me to send the details such as MAC address of the NBN Box, I emailed them. Two days later I called them to follow up to make sure that they have received the email (they told me that they have received it) also I asked them to provide me with a case/ticket number (so the issue will be noted in their system). They always say we will follow up and let you know. (but they never did, they just want to end the conversation and move on to next ...calls). Three days later I called again to find out what is going on because I still haven't received the replacement yet. This lady from the TPG NBN Engineering department (her name is [name removed]), told me the earliest time she could arrange a tech to come was 3 days later. So if I did not call them on that day, they haven't done anything with this issue. I was very crossed with this situation so I told them that I want to cancel my account and she just gave me the email where I can cancel my account. and she closed the case/ ticket number. All I need from them is a brand new NBN Box replacement. And it shouldn't take more than 11 days and hours of my time on the phone to chase it up. If they really care about their customers this could be done earlier. (upon writing this feedback, my NBN still not working!!). TPG's Directors of customer services should be sent to the training room again. The sales department wanting to get as many customers as possible by spending millions of dollars on promotions and marketing. But the other departments don't give a damn (by providing a lousy attitude and service).
Never get on with TPG, No internet and NEVER get an update on cancellation,
I was forced (almost no ADSL service) to update to NBN from Dec 19, so I updated to NBN on 23 Jan. Internet keep dropping down from time to time and out service since 1 Feb, until today.
I tried to contact TPG from 9am to 10pm on 1 Feb ( Saturday) and stayed online over 1 hour but never able to get through, sent email to ask them to call me back but received a reply on 4 Feb
However, 12 Feb, I called TPG to check an update and was told no indicate date for the NBN to be fixed and I decide to terminate the service with TPG and sent email to ca...
loss of telephone and internet service
service is good while its working but once you have problems their al nice about helping you but service is down the drain. they say they will help but it takes two to three days down the track and no one returns their call you have to ring them back to find out whats happening.
Rude staff and poor service
I called TPG to cancel my internet and each time they said they'll get the department responsible for the job to call me back in 24 hours. They never did and so I called them again to which they reported the same thing. I finally got a hold of the elusive department because I insisted that I will wait on the line rather than have them call me back - I suspect they don't call back within the reported timeframe (24 hours) so that my cancellation is postponed which means I have to keep paying for the service. When I finally spoke to the staff in t...he department, the woman sounded very annoyed, spoke very quickly and unclearly, and slammed the phone down while I was in the middle of a question regarding the cancellation process. TPG, get local help and not rude, incompetent and unhelpful people from the Phillipines!!!
I got the TPG 50 and it is so slow, also email stopped working, which I have finally sorted out. Bought a Ferrari and got a Moped. This is slower than my old DODO ADSL. Should have stayed with them. Silly me
Biabolical service went to three departments, time on the phone 56 minutes! what a joke!
Called to see where the modem I order was. Was told it was sent to a completely different address in NSW. I live in VIC! Wanting a modem to be sent to the correct address, I had to speak to two different people and then be put on hold to speak to another person. After waiting 14 for the last hold I was placed on, I gave up. Total time TPG wasted 56 minutes and I got absolutely nowhere. PICK UP YOUR GAME TPG! what a disgrace. Hung up and chose another department to be told its a 50 minute wait!! If you want the life sucked out of you call these guys!
Very slow. Always dropping out. Took money from my bank without authorization. Will be switching yo a new provider very soon. Just typing more words bow because it won't let me submit unless it went ober 30 word
