not even accept delivery of the stone table due to faulty product ( showing photo evidence of the marks ) and we contacted them within 24hrs of receipt of the tv stand to say it had production faulty marks. However they (Zac) kept saying that it was change of mind and were forced to comply with their contradictory contractual agreements. I could go on here with the gas lighting and complete lies this Zac person kept emailing and stipulating. But after reading the reviews above, I can see that this is how this company behaves. Please please please do not buy from this store. They are dishonest, unethical and terrible service. I ended up being $1000 out of pocket due to their delivery fees plus the stress and anxiety suffered during this period.
Trit House does not value their customers. fluctuate, I found it really disappointing that there was no flexibility or goodwill offered, especially given how quickly the change occurred. It left me feeling like my purchase wasn’t valued, and unfortunately it’s made me hesitant to shop here again.
EDIT: Customer service has since reached out and offered the difference in store credit, which I greatly appreciate. While I was disappointed with how the situation began, I’m thankful they took the time to make it right.

One of the most stubborn customer service I have ever experienced! – I bought the Montana Coffee Table on sale for $395 and paid $110 for shipping (to Sydney metro). wooden furniture at home and I am very familiar with natural wooden imperfections. However, since this is just too prominent and right on top of the coffee table, which I am supposed to display in the centre of my lounge, I would like to get this exchanged. I also asked them to look at the product display pictures on their website and show me a single "knot" on those images (which obviously didn't have any). After a lot of to and fro, the customer support team refused to exchange this defected product and said the only way I can return this is by shipping it back to them for another $110 within 7 days. They rejected all my requests to exchange this and said this can only qualify for a return under "Change of mind" policy and I had to pay the return shipping. End result, I had to pay $220 out of pocket ($110 for first time shipping + $110 for return shipping) just to send this defected product back, which should never have passed the quality checks in the first place. This was my first purchase from Trit House, and definitely my last one as well.
Still boggles my mind how companies like Trit can get away with sending defected products to customers and actually charge them ridiculous shipping fee to send it back. Planning to lodge a formal complaint with ACCC.

no table. We traveled 4 hours to get to the warehouse so we were less than impressed. Eventually the manager said that the table might be in the other warehouse so we had to drive to that warehouse. Thankfully it was there but this blew our schedule out completely. This effected our 4 hour return trip back home as we could no longer run any other errands. There were a lot of disappointed phone calls letting people down about how we were no longer able to make it back in time. I understand there was a bit of human error going on that day but I really didn't think how a pickup window of 2 hours could go terribly wrong.

collected at a different store an hour from my house as our closest store had closed in the interim. I requested that it be posted and ended up having to pay the $30 courier fee myself. Customer service rep was polite but a disappointing experience given the delays.
Faulty product and refusal to refund or replacement – I purchased a side table online on 3 January 2022 with a brass top and marble base. Then they suggested cleaning with Brasso, which I also did. Despite the product not being fit for purpose, they are refusing to offer a replacement or repair, claiming it is not covered under the 1 year warranty as they claim it does not extend to general wear and tear (even though I'd had the table for 2 months). They refuse to refund or replace as they claim as the mark was not present on delivery, it is considered to be wear and tear. This is despite pointing out to them the legal consumer guarantees and rights in Australia. They don't care. I would avoid ordering anything online with this company.

exactly as I was instructed, I found that the method they advised damaged the fabric and left more of a mark than whatever tiny spot I started with. When I asked the staff at Trip House for help, they suggested another cleaning technique which again made things worse and when I told them this, then they suggested I purchase a steam cleaner! I organised a professional steam cleaner to attend to the couch instead (even though it was only a couple of months old!) and was told the fabric looked faulty and shouldn't mark as it had. The steam cleaners did not want to touch it. So I contacted Trit House again and requested that someone come and have a look at the sofa in person (I had previously provided photos). They refused saying that the fabric was not faulty and that they would not be discussing the matter further. At this point, I requested to speak to the owner / director of the company and was again refused. This has been an incredibly disappointing experience. They also confirmed that they had been to trit house several times over that time and had come back empty as they were told there was nothing for them. All the while my sofa was sitting there and i had been paid in full. It seems this company are only interested in getting your money and as soon as its paid, they have no interest to complete the order. Great product not the best prices – We love the ethnicraft because the entire range is not only beautiful but made from sustainable timber. Great Service and love the products! – We have recently bought some dining chairs, coffee table, lounge chair and rugs from Clickon Furniture. The products are in good quality and arrived within a week. The delivery company even helped us to assemble the furniture. The experience was so easy from the start and customer service was great. escalated to a more senior member of the company and instead of dealing with it with level-headedness, we were shocked to find the emails were quite passive aggressive and were extremely patronising towards us. We felt our concerns were not addressed and we were extremely alarmed by their dismissive attitude. Needless to say, we were highly traumatised by the experience.
Although we were initially promised a measly discount as remediation, it was not refunded to us in a timely manner and to our expectation. We reported the company's conduct to the department of Fair Trading and although I did not expect any further action to be taken by Fair Trading, I reported them simply as a matter of principle. I encourage others who have any issues with their conduct and have grounds to do so, to do the same. Fair Trading do keep tabs on complaints and will investigate further if enough complaints are received.
I'm sure it's all fine if you don't have any problems with the product, however if there are ever any major issues, one word: BEWARE.
