Amazed how far umarts customer service has fallen...
up to 6 days wait I've seen... while at the same time being promised "2 to 4" hours is completely unforgiveable. I ordered 2 simple items. #4838586

Horrible place. Monopolized computer part sales and still bad at service. Worst type of company.
I followed the 4-step confirmation email which did not mention to bring ID to collect my parts, just the unique transaction number.
After driving all the way to store because U-mart has seemingly monopolised the mainstream computer part industry here, they denied me my part without ID.
The part cost's 19 dollars, so their policy is essentially assuming I spent 10 dollars on fuel to drive to their store just to commit fraud for a 19 dollar computer part. Absolutely illogical and shows a complete lack of common sense.
No idea how U-mart expect...s to compete with the upcoming online sales of companies like Amazon. I will be buying all my parts online from now on. Unfortunately, I have an allergic reaction to stupidity and had to cancel my order and leave rapidly. 0/10

Horrible and disgusting business ethics will never shop with Umart ever again
Placed my order being for a ThunderX3 BC3 Gaming Chair Black/Cyan $269.00 order number #4831017 from Umart online on Saturday the 05/09/2020 at 11am. I chose to pick up this item in store from there location at Milton QLD which I have done many other times before with no issues until now. The item was in stock which is why I went with this location. When I went in they told me I have to wait as I had not received my ready for collection email. I waited in there carpark all day until 4pm which is when they close to receive this email to pick up ...my order. I asked if I could wait inside they advised me not to. When I asked staff when can I get my order (which is out the back all they have to do is get someone to go get it) they told me they didn't know and it may take up to 4-5 hours. This is disgusting people should know about these wait times before paying over the money online which you have to pay upfront now before you can place an order. There is a reason why your customers choose to select the pick up instore option it is because we don't want to wait until next year to pick it up from you we want to pick it up on the day before you close or the next day. It is fathers day and I have no present for my son to give to his father because I spent $269.00 on a gaming chair that I paid for in sufficient time before you people close your store. And your website stated that it was in stock at your Milton store. Now here we are it's 1.10pm Sunday the 06/09/2020 and I still have not received this so called ready for collection email and it is saying that my order is still processing for something that you can go out the back door and get off the shelf. This is disgusting service your in store team have no idea what the hell is going on and can't even communicate properly with customers. If you don't give me the courtesy to inform me as to what is going on with my order I will contact the ombudsman and the office of fair trading qld. I am a small business owner and I know my rights. Pull your head in and treat your customers with more respect. You have our money now hand over the goods and and if you can't then please give me a refund and do the right thing.

High quality product with competitive price
I was upgrading my old notebook computer and ordered DDR3 rams and SSD drive from umart online. They worked perfect for my old notebook computer. The items were ready for pick up soon after I placed my orders online. The customer service at the Milton store is excellent. I am very satisfied with the range of products available and the quality of the products with competitive price.
A store with its own parking, in a convenient central location but off the main road. I go there to collect and have never had to return anything. Even the packaging I always in perfect condition. There's also hardly ever a need to wait because their system or order numbers and stock packing is very efficient. I have bought many products from here over the years.
6 days and still not processed
Ordered ubiquiti access point 6 days ago via zippay and still not processed. Called customer service and they have no clue. Followed up multiple times but no use. At the end they gave an excuse that their systems have been upgraded recently and that's the reason.
There's virtually no coordination between teams at Umart. Pathetic!!!
Finally ordered at Computer Alliance and it was ready to be picked up within 15min.

The store is in a convenient and easy location for me to get to because I can drop in on my way to work.
I am very satisfied with the range Umart stocks and can usually find everything I need in the one store. This is convenient and saves me time because I don't have to go to several places to get everything.
Being able to look for, see what is in stock, and order on-line what I need is also very convenient.
This makes for quick, in and out shopping, which is ideal for someone like me who just wants to get what I need and go.

Number 1 choice for PC parts
When people ask me where to get parts and accessories for their computer, I most often recommend umart. Their prices are routinely $20 to $30 less than other stores, and I’ve never had an instance where I’ve ordered something only to find out “it’s not in stock - how about this more expensive alternative” like at some big department stores.
If you know enough to be ordering a part rather than a complete system, check out umart.
Worst service ever
Paid for an order on Monday at 10 and was told everything was in stock. Still not available for pick up lunchtime on Thursday. Call centre can't tell me why, terrible service.

Umart staff were very quick to service my order in these COVID times. They used social distancing and limited their contact but still providing good customer service. Everything just seemed to flow easy with no issues...

Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. All your computer parts and accessories easily found online and you can check out things in store. All products are excellent, no matter of your budget.
Service is now very bad and misleading
Have been a long term umart customer and prices and order processing have always been great. But placed a $150 order last week. All parts in stock at Milton. New process is they take your money up front now. Four days later not a peep about collection despite follow up with order call centre. Everything supposed to be in stock? Hard to believe. Interesting that it only took 5 minutes to cancel the order talking to their overseas call centre. Now picked up my items from a local electronics shop off the shelf. Cost a few dollars more than umart but at least I knew what was happening. Customer service at umart has gone way down. Hope they manage to bring it back but I will stay away for now.

As a non-techy person looking to purchase my son his first gaming computer, the task seemed daunting and overwhelming! The staff at Umart (8 Miles Plains, QLD) were not only brilliant in providing excellent customer service, but were so helpful and patient in providing expert opinion and product suggestions.
After making our purchase, and having to come back to refund a product, it could not have been more straight forward and stress free – these guys are awesome!
I looked at numerous other computer companies and felt like I’d been given the ...brush-off, they were unapproachable or pushing their own products. If you’re looking for experts who know their stuff, quality products and fantastic customer service – Umart, 8 Miles Plains is the store to go to! Very happy customer – will be back!

Absolutely terrible service with customer support
I purchased a full PC build of items, After 2 months I had issues with the GPU, I contacted GEEKS2U to come investigate the issue and was informed it was the GPU, I returned my item to Chermside store for a refund, which I Was told that it will need to go away for repairs, IT took 3 months to come back, In the mean-time I was offered a temporary GPU a 750 Ti in the 3 months my RTX 2070 SUPER was away for "Repairs" I had 0 issues with the PC, I received my Item after 3 months and 2 days later the issue continues, I return my Product back for a r...efund but am told it'll need to go away again for testing, I wait 1 week to be told its fine, After being told it was at one store for collection and it actually wasn't I finally received my product back after being told it was fine and they wont be issuing a refund because of that. I returned home to find still an issue Outlined in the Gyazo image link below. I had requested multiple refunds/replacements but continually denied. I picked up my first computer built here over 6 years ago and over the years have bought bits and pieces from the store, prices are always great and the click and collect speed is always fast and easy. I highly recommend the Sunshine coast Umart store to anyone needing something computer related
Great Pre and Post Sale Service
Umart staff were very knowledgeable and helpful when I was selecting components for a new PC build. The online ordering process is very straightforward and I received a prompt notification when the goods were ready for pickup. Unfortunately, I had a bit of trouble with the build and Umart's technical help was able to put me back on track.
