nothing to do with the direct provider you have.

A recent outage slowed our service, which was the worst we've had in our 5+ Years with them, and they immediately admitted there was some upgrade disruption and provided some credit compensation.

I'm surprised by the number of negative comments. Likely from people who don't understand the way service providers work.. or don't give their provider a call, and understand what's going on. Customer service-wise.. these guys really invest in ensuring there is always someone helpful to talk to on the phone.. and for us, that is 5 Star.

King of worst internet – Worst internet of all i have tried. Internet keeps dropping off and had to wait hours on call with customer service plus they have 30 days termination notice period which doesn't make any sense

Great customer service! – Recently connected with Uniti and was having some trouble setting my router up. Got on to the customer service line quite quickly and spoke with Hatim Ali who was absolutely brilliant and really patient with sorting out my connection issue. High Speeds, Low Latency, Okay Price – Customer service from Eu-Jin was good, he walked me through the process and was easy to understand. Speeds are higher than the minimum, which is nice. Haven't been with them long enough to know if the service ever drops out, but it seems fine so far. Update after a few months, service has been constantly good, above speed minimums consistently, definitely worth it. Show details ·  3

Poor service, poor product, high rates – We have been a customer since 2019. The service was acceptable for the first few years, we would drop out around 3-5 times a week, and we paid $69 for 100 MBPS. through automated direction, 'dial 1 to speak with tech support', be put on hold for 1 hour and the phone would suddenly be hung up (from Uniti's end).

Extremely frustrating.

Uniti will also suspend your services if your bill is not paid within 1 day of being overdue (even though under agreement you have 10 business days to make the payment).

We are now seeking other services as work from home for us requires a stable and reliable internet connection with at minimum some sort of reliable technical support should things go pear shaped.

We would not recommend this service to any friend of ours. The only recommendation is to not even touch this company with a ten foot pole.

Note - Uniti's technical support is outsourced to the Philippines (akin to TPG services). When you do get in touch with them for help, they do not really care about your issue (understandable as they are likely at minimum wage) and your concerns fall on deaf ears.

Please do research online and seek other internet services before even considering Uniti.

Beware hidden costs in the contract – I was forced to go with Uniti when I was in the rural WA as they were the only provider. Initial connection was positive, however the Internet did dropout regularly. When I moved back to Perth they couldn't provide me a service and sent me through their partner provider Aussie Broadband, however Uniti maintained the account. I still suffered… Read more

occasional Internet dropouts I was aware there was a no lock in contract and believed that meant I could disconnect and only pay the remaining month costs. So I looked for another provider and found a company that was $20 cheaper and arranged to swap only to be contacted by Uniti to say I had to pay for 30 days before they would disconnect my account. So on top of a connection fee I am also paying for an exit fee by another name.

No Tech support for 4 days – Absolutely terrible customer service. Needed tech support to solve a connection issue where by service continuously drops out. A connection whereby i have to turn my Wi-fi off when i get home so my phone will connect to the internet. I was told it would be 1-2 days and currently sitting at 4 days with no contact. Stay clear of these guys – Poor internet, slow speeds, constant drop outs and you pay a premium. After you close the account, these guys continue to charge you, and slap you with a $10 per month dishonour fee if you don't pay. despite being advised in writing when I signed that it is "no lock in". After calling back they advised they needed to check with their manager before calling back. I have not been contacted since then. I find it outrageous that they would attempt to charge me a breakfee after providing in writing that it was "no lock in". Do not deal with these guys

Horrible experience – After a smooth start a year ago, with their merging with Aussie broadband it's an absolute mess. Disconnected the service without actually asking for a cancellation – They have deliberately cut the internet connection for no fault of me. The direct debit had been set up and active. When the payment date falls on a week end, they said the payment will be taken on the next business day , but at the same time they had disconnected the internet. I am surely taking this matter to Ombudsman and get Uniti penalised for disconnecting internet service. Show details

Horrible service – I encountered difficulties setting up the router and have emailed uniti. Customer service is nonexistent and looks like they do not want my business. It has been 2 weeks since I signed up with uniti. During this time, I have followed up with using the contact forms on the website and sending an email to the complaint email address. Not a single reply from them. I am very disappointed and want to terminate the service with immediate effect.

unreliable. I have experienced frequent outages and slow speeds, making it nearly impossible to carry out even the simplest online tasks. It is incredibly frustrating to pay for a service that consistently fails to deliver on its promises.

But what's even worse than the unreliable internet connection is the complete lack of customer service. I have wasted hours upon hours trying to reach their support team, only to be greeted by never-ending hold music and empty promises of assistance. Last week, I spent an excruciating hour and a half on hold, and this week I am currently at an hour and fifteen minutes (and counting) without any human interaction. It is outrageous and unacceptable to keep customers waiting for such extended periods of time.

To add insult to injury, during one of my fruitless attempts to contact their customer service, I was assured that a manager would personally call me back to address my concerns. Needless to say, that call never came. It is evident that Uniti has no regard for its customers and lacks the basic professionalism to follow through on their promises.

I strongly advise anyone considering Uniti Internet Provider to look elsewhere. Their unreliable internet connection coupled with their complete disregard for customer support make them a company that should be avoided at all costs. Save yourself the frustration, wasted time, and false promises by choosing a different internet provider that values its customers and provides reliable service.

I hope this review serves as a cautionary tale for others, and I sincerely hope that Uniti takes immediate steps to improve their service and customer support.
