Smooth build - no complaints – Our build began in February 2024 and handover was completed mid-August 2024. All in all, things ran smoothly and we were kept in the loop throughout the build with access to the online portal showing the progress. Forecasted dates were generally accurate with minimal delays. relations and they would generally get back to us within 24 hrs. Our final cost for the build matched up with our estimated cost with no extra expenses along the way. We were inclined to build with Vic Turnkey because we didn't want the task of organising the landscaping, fencing, concrete driveway and any other bits some other builders don't include. We just wanted to get handed the keys and move our stuff in. In terms of colour/finish selections, the advice we received was professional and open minded. Going into the selection process, we had a few ideas already and it was excellent how we were able to incorporate those ideas with the advice given to create a cohesive looking home which we both liked. Overall, the finish on the home is good - we have no complaints and would build with Vic Turnkey again.

Unlike big volume builders who sweep you off the floor at first sight and later get caught out with hidden costs; Dean was “no frills and what you see is what you get” kinda guy – which is exactly what we wanted! The key highlight was having the ability to customise our plan and design for the house. This gave us the luxury of having a proper backyard in our small block in spite of building a decent sized house. Throughout the project management, Vic Turnkey home was very professional, patiently and promptly answered our infinite questions and accommodated our multiple design change requests. We were dreading the colour selection process and Maria (big thanks!) made it cruisy. We were given plenty of photos throughout the build, multiple opportunities for site visits to keep us in loop with the progress of the build. The fortnightly updates from the hard-working team at Escape Homes were great!
