Horrible experience, do not build with them! – Customer service post contract signing was terrible! We had constant mistakes with our build and they blamed us for it because we had “too many upgrades”. The lies were constant (light switch upside down because it is “water proof”, tiles were discontinued and offered us cheaper tiles as replacements even though National Tiles advised us the tile wasn’t discontinued, and the silver towel rails they installed instead of the black ones we upgraded to was because they were “test fitting them”). Their promised updates are few and far between and you have to chase multiple times for them. The owner even sent an email blaming us for them losing contracts because we were sharing honest feedback online (even commenting/insinuating that we were taking food out of his children’s mouths because of it). Tradies told us they weren’t getting paid and ex staff have told us about the bullying that goes on in the workplace. The owner brags about being “the rich builder” in his street and that his company is one of the biggest but no one we’ve talked to has ever even heard of his business. We hardly had any rain days during our build but they took over 7 months to complete our 3 bedroom home. Lots of their positive reviews are from them trying to make themselves look better, don’t fall for them! Their Sales Consultant even told us that it’s what builders do. We wish we had built with someone else.

100% Happy everything! – We moved into our new home a couple of months ago, and could not be happier. We had walked away from another builder as their pricing started to climb after we paid our deposit, and quickly grew beyond our reach. Tony was very nice and helped us design the house of our dreams and Andrew was always friendly and available to help with the changes we made and was able to answer all of our silly questions :) We ended up with more than we ever imagined and the quality is second to none. It was exciting to watch the home progress and was surprised at how quick we were able to move in. We have had a couple of defects that were quickly fixed and Kristie in the office was helpful and easy to deal with. If you are looking for a builder that is good to their word, these are the guys. Andrew the salesman who helped us to pick a right house for oddly shaped block and customise it to our needs, he was always happy to answer any of our silly questions. Thanks to Kristie ( office manager )who was very proactive, swiftly got right back to us with any of our concerns. Tony the boss was straight with us from beginning and delivered what was promised , his attention to detail with very high standards and craftsmanship is simply outstanding. I would highly recommend visual diversity to anyone and if I am going to build another house I will choose them again.

dollars in extra loan repayments and offered us next to nothing in compensation.

This builder blames the customer for everything and apologises for nothing. He won't give out his mobile phone number, but hides behind his office staff, all messages have to be relayed through them (high staff turnover) which makes communication difficult - you have to chase him for a reply. He gets nasty when you question him and twists everything you say. His memory of conversations is very one-sided.

The project was badly managed with no building supervisor ever seen. It began at a snail's pace and continued that way - at one time we had six weeks of fine weather where no work was done on site at all. The sub-contractors we asked had trouble getting paid. Some issues after we finally got in, but didn't want to deal with him anymore.

DON'T SIGN THE CONTRACT!!!

builder/owner [name removed] will ring you and he NEVER does! Won't give you contact for supervisor which we didn't even get one till a year into our build have to speak to admin girls who never know what you are talking about when you call with a problem. It took 8 months to get an onsite meeting with owner and that was the month our house was meant to be finished and it was no way near finished and now 6 months later still not in.

15 months waiting for our home and still not in.

So disappointed is an understatement feel awful bagging people but this had to be said I hope no one goes through what we have with them I wish I read these reviews before we signed.

Moved in then the next day our oven was installed!!??? Gas and phone lines were completed so had no gas hot water oven phonelines when we moved in. Oven was faulty and day 5 living there with no oven as it is faulty visual diversity take no responsibility for this nor do their suppler reece electrical who installed the oven! Hops been repaired day 3 of moving but still with an oven that doesn't even work after all the stress and drama this is just the icing on the cake. So disappointed and sad it's hasn't been worth the tears and stress this build.

Only plus side is I do love the floor plan of our home. Very substandard workmanship of house cheaps and poor job.

Bad – Stay Clear of Visual Diversity. The two brothers [name removed] and [name removed] alongside their father [name removed] and [name removed]'s wife [name removed] all look out for each other and back each others stories when it comes to complaints. they go through reception staff like there's no tomorrow. ask for changes and they say 'yep they will be done' until the house is built and you find out they haven't. when you complain they say read the contract as they didn't make the changes.The work is sub standard and when you complain they say take us to court. Management is arrogant and rude. When you ask for faults to be corrected they charge you an arm and a leg and say its your fault not theirs.

These BUILDERS ARE RUBBISH!

Waste of money.

BAD customer service if any. Really friendly until the contract is signed.

Charge a fortune to make a simple change.

I regret ever using them.

material and workmanship was of very good standard and the cost of a 4 bedroom 278 sq meter home was very reasonable. We sold the house after 5 years and moved to Wide Bay area and build again with another company as Visual Diversity does not build in this area, and we are not impressed with our new home. Visual Diversity's workmanship and quality was absolutely excellent in comparison to our now build home. Visual Diversity was helpful and always available.

display home at Pacific Cove we absolutely loved the house loved the raked ceilings and loved the feeling of space. Andrew was so easy to deal with, he didnt try to pressure us into unnecessary changes.

During the build process Kristie was amazing!! Any issues we had were only minor and these were sorted promptly. We only lived 5 minutes from the house so we visited often to check progress. I can honestly say it felt like eternity (haha mostly because we couldnt wait till it was finished). The house was actually finished before the contract date so it shows that it ran on time.

We have now moved into our amazing home, one week later we are trying to find things wrong but can say the workmanship is to a high quality. We are so happy that we were able to take advantage of the fixed costs there were no hidden costs like some of the nightmare reviews I had read.

Overall it has been a stress free build would highly recommend Tony and the team.at Visual Diversity.

our budget. He suggested things that we would have not thought of ourselves! Colour selection was great too, had a great range of colour & products. Lucky we weren't too indecisive otherwise we would have had trouble choosing the colours. Council approval took a while, but when building finally started, it was really quick. We lived in Brisbane at the time so we were coming down every week / fortnight to see the progress, it was truly amazing to see different stages completed in each time we visited. Kristie was fantastic, communication was never an issue for us. During the construction, we emailed once about a minor issue, Kristie promptly escalated this to the supervisor and kept us updated. Everything ran very smoothly, no nasty surprises or hidden cost like some of the horror stories about building a house. When we did our defect walk through with Tony, I was very impressed with his attention to details as there were so many things marked by him that we couldn't have picked up on. He was very approach able and professional. There were some minor defect that we picked up on and they were all sorted or plan to be sorted. The whole process was so much easier than we expected. We have been in our new house just over a week now, we could not be happier! I'm so proud that I could call this house our home and strongly recommend Visual Diversity!!! We now have been in our home for 7 months already, and about from a few minor defects when we first moved in we have not had any further issues. The ones we had initially were fixed quickly.

There were no extra hidden costs. The landscaping also included.

try to keep us in the loop as much as possible. The actual build went amazingly; we didn’t have any hiccups or issues beside one tile change. The attention to detail was great; our builder has an eye for detail and would pick up issues we couldn’t even see. We are very grateful for this as it really felt like the builder really understood that this home was really important to us and that this was not just a house but our home. The designs were fantastic and it was never a hassle to change things around. Our builder even added in some safety measures knowing that we were had three children, these were added without cost. The advantage was that our home was complete when we moved in, everything was included in the price and Visual Diversity were up front at all times about the cost. We were able to do a mix of two different inclusion lists meaning we tailored our home to what we wanted and needed. We have been in our home now for almost 6 months and about from a few minor defects when we first moved in we have not had any further issues. The ones we had initially were fixed quickly.
