Absolutely disgusting ISP. If you’re studying and want a reliable internet connection, please don’t choose VF and maybe go to the nearest library instead. They are a terrible ISP and that’s why they try their best to hook you up with an nbn plan. Please don’t fall for it! Show details

So disappointed….. With my complex getting fibre to the premises, I decided to move from Vodafone 5G internet which I had been happy with for nearly 3 years to NBN. When ordering I asked if it had the mobile back up and was told it had. When I connected it was no where as good as the 5G I had. I… Read more

followed up and was offered a free mesh. It wasn’t that much better. The NBN failed and when contacted them was advised that it was a network fault and would be reported to NBN, I had no update. I called next day and was confirmed that there had been a report lodged and to be sure NBN would call me the next day. Long story short the new day I got a text saying Vodafone had reviewed my case and submitted to NBN - that’s 48 hours after reporting issue. Also saw that Vodafone was offering same plan now with much higher speeds. I have been told that not all retailers of NBN are passing on the new higher speeds the NBN has done to existing customers

Instead of wasting my time I signed up with Aussie Broadband and whilst a little more expensive I am getting much better coverage by Wifi and much faster speeds. Even when calling to cancel I was told my call would be put to another area but rest assured they would advise of my request. And when next person answered they had no info- not the first time in last 3 weeks this has happened. So good bye Vodafone and hello Aussie Broadband. I wish I had just gone to Aussie at the start. I am still with Vodafone for my mobile, but will never try their fixed NBN again. Interestingly when returned equipment to store today, could see another modem had been returned and when leaving store saw another customer cancelling and returning internet modem, so don’t think is an isolated issue and would explain why modem and mesh appeared second hand when received.

absolutely rubbish, the worst I have seen since internet have been introduced into this world. Why the hell you wanted a customer to remember his account number for login and each time for login there is an activation link.,, what a joke and a super frustration process whom ever came out this idea should get shot right now! I am so glad leaving Vodafone as an NBN provider if it could not ever sort the login process and cancelling process right it is just proving itself nothing.

BYO modem? You better be a network engineer – I wasn't able to use my own Netgear D6220 modem. Vodafone customer service can only reset to default settings and if it still doesn't work - they just address you to modem manufacturer (obviously Netgear customer service couldn't help either). Had to upgrade the plan to use NetComm modem which has 4G sim card for backup internet. Took a bit of… Read more

Great NBN – I have had this service for a little over 3 years without issue. The speed i get is consistently around 43-50mb down and around 15-17 up. I dont remember the last time it dropped out (maybe once or twice for a few minutes). I noticed a lot of people complaining about the speed and this may be to do with the wifi spectrum they are connecting… Read more

Really unbelievably disappointed – I have been with Vodafone for about 20 years. Great for phones but that is it. Changed to Vodafone NBN end of last year to consolidate costs. Worst decision ever. Connection is slow, unreliable and frustrating. I've had to reboot my router every 3 day's for well over 6 months. Replaced 2 routers as faulty. I now have this new issue with the access… Read more

point being full. I've got 47 things connected to a router that's meant to be able to hold up to well over 100 devices. My smart home is a nightmare most days due to no connection. I can't change this router setting as it's greyed out. The tech help has no idea what I'm talking about as my connection is apparently great... I have shown my photos of these issues and they just keep replacing the router. I just want my internet to work as it's also affecting my high school child and their assessments due to constant upheaval when the wifi stops...

Just too slow and nowhere near the advertised speeds – advertised speed is 45Mbps but we have never received any speed even above 15 Mbps. speed is so slow you can't open two websites together, just takes forever to load.

Vodafone NBN - Less than perfect – I signed up to Vodafone NBN 50 (Essential+) in December 2018 when the NBN became available at my address via HFC as they were the cheaper of the 2 companies which offered 4G backup when the cable goes down. My honest opinion is that Vodafone NBN 50 is not worth recommending as when I try watching 520p Streaming it is unwatchable even off peak. … Read more

Tonight at 5:00 pm using https://fast.com/# shows speed 45/21 Mbps which you might think reasonable. Then using Speedtest to the only Vodafone Server (Sydney) 446 miles away shows speed 8.92/18.08 Mbps. That's right, a Download Speed less than half the Upload speed and 17.84% of the plans maximum speed. What more can I say ...... not happy Vodafone.

Good service, good speed. Easy setup – We switched from ADSL2+ on TPG to VF NBN50 due to bundle deal with mobile and 4G backup. The modem has good wifi (compatible with my old 6 antennae Dlink cobra in range) but Ethernet is only 100mbps. We are on FTTC and needed a connection box. The only glitch was Auspost lost the first box. VF followed up the connection progress regularly and… Read more

didn’t need to ring up to reorder the box - they rang me, no waiting on hold. Got the new NBN box within the week (not bad for Vic in lockdown), plugged in and good to go within 5mins. I am now getting up to 53mbps. 41 is worst I have seen so far. The only thing to say is 4G backup is limited to 18mbps, usable coming from ADSL as occassional backup. Incidentally, 4G on my mobile clocks over 50mbps regularly.

Refusing To Cancel My Service - Barriers at Every Turn - Horrible Products and Services – I had NBN 50 for approx 5 years, no problems. During my 6th year the modem must of died. problems for 6 months. I only persisted because initially it was great, and the NBN was just as bad as far as my experience went. I spent 5 months on the phone to customer support, at least another 20 hours on the phone, I was DESPERATE FOR RELIABLE INTERNET. Eventually they advised that 5G wasn't even AVAILABLE in my area. They had lied to me and sold me a fake product for 7 months. I was trying to be loyal to a company I've been with for over 15 years. I couldn't BELIEVE the lack of support and service. IT WAS DISGUSTING. I am disabled and it's very difficult to get to the Chatswood NSW Store. I have a Disability Support Worker and they refused to accept him helping me. They demanded I go to the store in person. Each phone call cost me 1 hour at least, and i was transferred to at least 3 departments each time, often more. I had to go to the store once to change a sim card, which had no impact, and again to return all 3 modems. When I returned the modems to the Chatswood NSW store in Westfield shopping centre, postcode 2067, they had at least 3 staff free. They proceeded to ignore me and my support worker, disappearing into the back office. 10 minutes later they approached and proceeded to check my ID and Account. the agent "[Name Removed]" spent another 10 minutes typing away, probably on a porn site. I asked him what he was doing and he explained he had to check the notes and link the modems to the notes. I explained I was returning the modems as asked and now I was leaving. They tried to keep me in the store and refused to accept the returned modems. I packed up the modems, entered the back office, and left it on the managers desk. The manager pushed me physically out of the office, and demanded I not leave, threatening me with raised hands, explaining he had called the police and center security, because I had peacefully returned their equipment, with a witness present, and on several security cameras.

It was simply 12 months of disgusting product and service. TPG has ruined vodafone forever.

I will never use a TPG or Vodafone service/product again.

feed lies, try to fob you off when asking to raise complaint and don't even bother calling back. Their staff has the audacity to write comments about customer behavior as RUDE & Aggressive but failing to understand that it's frustration and anger out of being lied on face not once but on 3 occasions continuously. They acknowledge it was their fault but don't do much about it. They clearly lack customer service skills and empathy towards their customer and are only looking to fob customers off. They clearly don't follow complain guidelines even though it was informed to raise one with call back on more than 2 occasions and nothing happening to it. I chose to cancel within 1 month of not being able to get the connection. Even though I clarified and made the situation as clear as possible for them to understand they failed to action it and took more than 3 weeks and still didn't managed to get a connection. Had it not been for such a poor customer experience I would have chosen to stay with them. But such failures on back to back 3 occasions was a huge red flag and I realized if I have to deal with this kind of customer experience I am better off without them.
