After the oven has been in use for a few hours it turns itself off and displays the "OFF" message on the display. Why is it doing this?

We have a Westinghouse WFE916. Why does the oven fan continue to operate in non- fan Modes such as GRILL MODE? We understand it is meant to have fan operation in MAXI GRILL Mode! Thank you in anticipation Janet Careedy Hastings

Maybe try turning off at mains for longer. Some devices have a built in battery or capacitor that stores errors until they are switched on again. If you can, try turning it off for a half hour?

Try genuine appliance parts if you are in Australia. Just be very careful to order the right part. I do NOT work for these guys by the way! external link

As long as the clock time is set you should not have to set the timer at all :)

The display panel has suddenly gone off. There is still power to the gas ignition system. I turned the power breaker off and back on but the panel is still off. The stove is about 5 years old now and has been a dream to use.
