Why does my spin mop leave fluffy bits over my white porcelain floors as it rotates.

I have used the standard spin mops for years but the handles break?

Hi Pam I have been using the same one for over 10 years and never had that problem. Suggest writing to them however the new one I brought my daughter has an improved handle that telescopes.

Hi Pam, I’m a house domestic cleaner and my clients have large floor areas. I am still on my original handle. I bought White Magic because they were the only one that didn’t have a clasp.

I have just purchased the white magic spin mop. It’s fantastic except for a terrible smell after I’ve rinsed it and left it to dry in the laundry . I only used hot tap water so why the smell ?

I’ve never had a smell. Have you got it drawing where it’s not very damp maybe dry it outside.

How to remove mop head to wash or replace?

Trish81
Trish81

Put your foot on the mop stringy part then pull the handle away in opposite direction. It should click off. Don’t put mop head in washing machine. I put mine in sink with hot water white vinegar and dishwashing detergent. Leave for few hours or overnight. Then rinse and drape over clothes line til dry. To put back on handle, tilt handle onto mop head then push handle on other side and lightly use foot to press all way round. Hope that helps.

Hi dorothy, To remove the mop head, make sure the handle and the disc is at 90 degrees. Put your foot on the mop head fibre and make sure the screws is towards to your foot. Pull the handle in the opposite direction to remove the mop head. If you are still confuse, please check this video external link

Angela, you can also buy replacements online - which might be more inexpensive.

Why won't our white magic mop spin around furniture and is still wet after six foot pumps? It is brand new.

Dimarie
Dimarie

Unfortunately (or fortunately) I was advised to buy the White Magic Mop which you push down into the spin part of the bucket. Works brilliantly and is very stable. Not sure of why your foot pump is not doing as it should. If it's not spinning around furniture or spinning out properly perhaps you have faulty equipment. I would return it to Howard's and ask for a replacement.

Hi Joe,

there are possibly a number of places to purchase the White Magic Spin Mop, but mine came from Howards.....if there's one near you. TVSN also has the White Magic range and may keep it. Good luck! Nemrac
