glazing installed since the 27th June and although at first I thought there was a difference made, I can honestly say now that I see no difference between the double glazed doors and the lounge room doors which were not insulated. Recently there were all. Ight road works outside my residence and the noise kept me awake for most of the night. Traffic and emergency vehicles scream past my place on a regular basis and I find the double glazing of no use. A very expensive investment with disappointing results.

Very disappointing – I could not believe how many things went wrong with this job and how long it took. Not to mention how many times I had to be home for rectifications to be done. And it the end we really haven't noticed a whole lot of difference to the noise, which is why we installed.

one, slide it closed and it just cuts out 90% of it. It has reduced traffic sound, general throng of city life, construction nearby. At night its very quiet compared to previously hearing people talk on balconies, cars and alarms etc. They were super professional and easy to deal with. They were upfront about what it would do or not do, instal was also seamless and he vacuumed and left the place spotless and reinstalled my blinds to my surprise. Cant be happier and i know its not cheap but if your sleep quality isnt worth money then nothing is. I think they look really great too. Im super surprised to see any bad reviews, but i can only imagine in a house as apposed to an apartment there is so much gaps etc room for sound to come in that it may not be as effective as an apartment. Good noise reduction (but needing to do the walls also) – My initial review of this company wasn't a very good one. cut out the noise of the pesty crows it did make a difference to reducing outdoor noise in general.

Winsulation were kind enough to come out again to check out any weak points and replaced my windows with thicker glass although I think the original windows were good too. After speaking with Ray who installed the windows he suggested that the walls likely need insulation to reap the true benefit of the window insulation and I think he could be right as the walls are now the weak point.

This is a family business who appear very genuine and caring about their clients needs and their product quality. Their level of service is excellent.

Wish I had Winsulation in my last house – I researched Double Glazing many years ago in the country to reduce the noise of my neighbours and their dog, but opted for roller shutters instead. the howling dog was an unexpected challange! I had Secondary double glazing installed in the bedrooms and the ensuite bathroom. The results are amazing, far superior to the roller shutters, with the added benefit of excellent heat reduction in summer and heat retention in winter. The team was friendly, effecient and professional from start to finish. This company is a pleasure to deal with and set the bar high in every aspect. Don't listen to the negative reviews, if you expect double glazing to work with a non double glazed window next to it, then mabey the product is not for you. Listen to the advice from the experts in the field, I would not have a house without it.

Great service and product – Had our main bedroom windows and ensuite done by this wonderful company. At last after 3 months in our new home we can finally sleep at night time away from the racket next door. Definitely cuts right down on voices and cooler on hot days. Would recommend – We haven't had the new windows in our bedroom very long but the difference is quite noticeable already. We had them installed as our neighbours have noisy parties so that will be the real test when they have their next party. Overall very happy with product and installation. Jeff

Seem to lack awareness of commercial regulations – The windows and sliding door that Winsulation installed were of excellent quality and well-fitted. Unfortunately the mullions were supplied as 65 millimetres thick whereas my builder advised me that the regulations for external windows specify 100 millimetre-thick mullions. little disappointed but to date nothing has come of it. It remains to be seen if a severe storm will damage the windows or door. Another point was the delay- the builder was waiting on the window frames to be installed so he could finish the ceiling but the time taken ran out to eight weeks despite them being aware that the fitout was on a time frame.

Terrible windows they don't block out ANY sound whatsoever! – I got some double glazed secondary windows installed in front of my regular windows i was told it would block out 80% of the sound. Secondary Glazing - a lot of money for no noticeable benefit – I'm currently de-installing the tracks for 9 windows to dump after 7 years of putting up with them - the window panes were removed a year or more ago with NO noticeable changes in noise levels by anyone in my household and we are over the added cleaning required. The windows have to be lifted out of the tracks (and they are heavy) to enable cleaning of primary & secondary windows & tracks. Show details

Fantastic job – Recently we had our kitchen window replaced. We live on the 6th floor of a older building. The new window looks as though it’s always been there. The installation was completed quickly and professionally. The installers were happy to answer questions. I must admit our neighbours also used Winsulation so we knew exactly what we were getting. Incredible noise reduction with a great new look – I live 70 metres from Ipswich Rd. Made such a difference! – Am so pleased with my secondary glazing - it has made such a difference to the external noise levels experienced in the bedrooms of our house. We were at our wits end because of noisy neighbours and were ready to sell, but the new windows and doors from Winsulation reduce the noise by 70 to 80% and we love living in our house again. Don’t hold off. I'd definitely use Winsulation again in the future and recommend them to anyone.
