process of picking out things and colours a real debacle, with things being missed or not explained properly. Too much paper work too sign and had a few issues with items actually ordered and colours. Some senior management were ok to deal with others no so much. The worst experience was after the build a d when they have to come to fix things. It was very obvious that once they get their money they don't really want to deal with you to get things fixed. The person in their maintenance corey was a real tool to deal with. We spent so much money building the house. The front door has water come underneath when it rains to this day. The skirting on the bottom give way in most places. Handles come loose or totally came off and the maintenance guy just did not get along with the supervisors we escalated too. For such a big company there is a lot of inconsistency with there service through out the different team. When you are going through things and choosing things people should have understanding to appropriately guide the customer. Maintenance Team need to understand and listen to the customer and not just wash their hands with everything.

- Pre-Construction

From our first conversations with Joseph at the Leppington display village, we felt welcomed and comfortable moving forward. He was approachable, helpful and not pushy at all. ur experience at Canvas Quarters with Rebecca was also excellent. She took the time to guide us through each selection in a clear and methodical way, helping us make confident decisions without feeling rushed. Some of the paperwork can feel like it slow in this stage, but in reality it's was reasonable and just feels slow as we're excited for thing to progress quickly. Timelines here also matched expectation set.

- Construction Process & Management

The construction phase was very well managed, and our site supervisor, Anthony, was a standout. He provided weekly updates without fail, including progress photos, which gave us great visibility and peace of mind throughout the build. Any questions we had were answered promptly, and he followed up where needed. Anthony’s professionalism and communication were a big part of what made this a smooth experience, and he is a key reason we would consider building with Wisdom Homes again.

- Workmanship & Build Quality

The overall workmanship is fantastic. The build quality has met our expectations, and attention to detail has been consistent across the home.

- Issues & Resolution

As with any build, there were a few minor items identified during various inspection points, PCI and at handover. These have been handled in a timely and organised manner, with clear communication on progress. We’re only a few weeks post-handover, but the follow-up so far has been reassuring, and we’re confident any remaining cosmetic items will be resolved after we submit a list before the end of our 90-day maintenance period.

- Cost vs Estimate

Our home was a fixed-price package with variations available. The variations we chose were mostly internal selections (tiles, carpet, doors, tapware, etc.), and the quotes we accepted were in line with expectations during our CQ consultation. There were no unexpected surprises, and costs were transparent throughout the process.

- Overall Timeline

Contact signed: Dec-2024 Pre-construction: ~4 months. Jan-2025 to May-2025 Construction: June-2025 to Mar-2026 Our build contact was 40 weeks and it was delivered in just over 38! and that is without taking into claimed adverse account weather days, holiday periods, etc.

David, where we were given every opportunity to point out anything we believed needed addressing before settlement. This process allowed us to study the home in detail and David was more than happy to note down all of our, very minor, notes and have them addressed immediately. David had these matters seen to and kept us up to date on the completion of these jobs, up until settlement and in some cases just beyond settlement. No question or request was too much and David was most willing to help out in every way. His nature is calm and approachable and his product knowledge is re-assuring and accurate. We felt heard, considered and cared for, leading up to settlement and now that we are living in the property, we have reached out to David for a number of things and he continues to support us. Despite informing them that I was unable to proceed with the construction due to unavoidable circumstances, and requesting a refund of the $6,500—given that they had already profited from the selections—they refused to return even a single cent.

Overall, my experience has been highly disappointing, and I strongly advise others to consider these issues before committing.

My husband and I built with Wisdom Homes 5 years ago. There have been so many issues with our house structure and the poor quality workmanship and fixings.
