Beautiful drapes returned 70mm short and crumpled – A quote was given prior to appt to collect 2 sets curtains and pelmets. Curtains were promptly taken down before we were asked if we wanted both front and back cleaned??? We were quoted $120 each but then told thats only for front and same price for the back. So we said put them back up as we weren't paying $560 for curtains and pelmets covering 2 windows 2.1m x 1.6m wide. Then we were advised that a callout fee applies, for which we were never quoted. So we called the office who then called the serviceman who said they would do for the price quoted. Pelmets were to be done insitu. 2 weeks later curtains returned in the most crumpled state. The pelmets were steam cleaned after a dalek was brought in on the ground floor of our building, with hoses that had to be brought upstairs and across king beds in 2 bedrooms with water dripping down our walls and windows and 2 power points needed. I asked if the curtains would be steamed to get the wrinkles out but was told that they would straighten out after a couple of weeks and the 70mm shrinkage would not appear to be as bad. However don't think the pleats will return or the curtains will reach the floor again. Obviously we will not use this service again in Perth and we will regret this every day when we draw the curtains.
