I've been running these tyres for a little over 3 years now on my six wheeler and have nothing but praise for them. I find them great in the wet… Read more

(maybe the 3.8 tonnes helps) and the dry. Off road they are amazing in the sand and rough dirt roads and tracks. I don't do rock crawling so i cannot comment on that with the exception that aren't aggressive mud tyres! They're pretty quiet for an All terrain and are coming up to 40K and are about half worn, so if I can get 70K out of them I'll be extremely happy.

Excellent. Cannot fault them. I had these fitted to a Mazda3 what I thought was "three years ago", probably sometime during COVID, expecting to get… Read more

about three years or 40,000km out of them. It turns out that was 2018, well before the COVID lockdowns. So 6.5 years and 75,000km later, the mechanic has only just told me they're getting low and it's time to replace. I'm not someone who runs their tyres down, but it's just a case of time flying and the tyres not having given us any issues. I guessed they were put on about 40,000km ago, but was completely wrong.

They've been nothing but grip and reliability in that time. I'm replacing them with the same model.

I've had these FK520 Falkens on for about a month after replacing the Pirelli P Zero originals on my Tesla M3P. The whole "what tyres can I fit on my… Read more

Tesla/EV?" thing is all just bunk - choose your quality tyre with correct speed/weight spec and off you go. The 520s are, on first impressions a good replacement. Steering is direct, they can handle the grunt, they stick well in wet and dry, and they are reasonably quiet like the Pirellis they replaced. They look great - the Pirellis were 235 and I've put 245 yet they still edge inwards on the tyre wall - they're a good looking tyre on the 20" rim. Seems my energy consumption is higher, could be my heavy foot on the new rubber and I believe Bob Jane fitters configured the car computer correctly after fitting. I'll update in 6 months or so but at this stage the 520s are recommended - car feels great under all conditions so far - but we'll see re mileage and compound wear.

Excellent tyres – These tyres are incredible value. My Peugeot 5008 had Kumho tyres when I bought it second hand and they lasted a couple of years and needed to be… Read more

replaced. I opted for the Falken CT60 tyres as they were half the price and had great reviews.

They have been a revelation. The car is twice as good to drive now, handling is excellent on wet and dry roads, the noise level is the lowest I've ever had, and to my surprise, the operation of the front brakes is much better. The front brakes tended to have a clunking sound when stopping with the Kumho's and now that has disappeared.

To add to all of this, the CT60s were half the price of the tyres typically recommended by the dealers. Excellent value all round.

Didn't last the distance – Tires performed very well in wet and dry but only got 18k kilometers out of them. And no, despite them being on a SS commodore, they were not abused not even once. Would have got on estimate another 10k but one delaminated so that sealed their fate.

Fallen Ziex tyres – I have had a few sets of these tyres and found them to be excellent value. If you are a normal driver then these are quite good, don't expect… Read more

racetrack performance but reliable long lasting tyres. General maintenance such as tyre pressure, rotation, cleaning and tyre shine will help with performance and tyre life.

Falken WildPeak H/T - cheap, long wearing but at the expense of safety – My experience with Falken WildPeak HT’s has been bad. Tyres weren’t even 5 years old… they were cheap ($676)/, but had poor dry grip; VERY poor wet… Read more

grip, very loud, but got excellent mileage (70,000km and still 30% tread left) but they weee skating all over the place. It got so bad that we decided to replace them…. With Michelin Primacy 4 ST. The Michelins are VERY grippy, VERY quiet and VERY comfortable. In my experience, the Michelin’s are a vastly superior tyre.

Dangerous in the wet – These tyres are cheap and not good quality replacements. There is worse out there, but generally they are average at best in the dry, and utterly dangerous and terrible in the wet. I would not recommend these tyres to anyone.
