old. Switching on this Fujitsu unit for the first time. My first impressions were of sheer disappointment regarding the lack of a digital readout on the head unit to tell of what temperature it was set at especially being a bedroom unit and in the dark. To make matters worse the remote has no backlit feature either so you're guessing of what you are doing in the dark and probably losing sleep when you get it wrong. While I might say this unit is quiet and does the job. I wouldn't say I could leave a door open and have it cool a few rooms other than my bedroom or very much thereof something of which my old 3.5 kw unit never had much trouble with doing. Mind you I didn't run it on powerful mode either so I'm yet to try this at a lenghthy period of time. I also do have a 5kw unit in my kitchen which has no problems cooling a few rooms on a hot day and being ice cold directly when needed. It is a Hisense and I bought for much less than this Fujitsu, it does have a digital readout and freezing cold when it needs to be and or hot in winter time and I've been running it non stop now for almost 3 years with no troubles other than to clean it's filters and fan wheel of the mold they collect over time. My Hisense unit also has a backlit remote and has also WiFi capability and has Alexa remote capability. Honestly I wish I had gone with another Hisense but I was advised not to. They have a wider more asthetically pleasing head unit with all the functions you need to be able see it in the dark. Even the remote glows in the dark so you can find it easy and if not control the thing with your phone. Not all things made in PRC are as bad as some people make out they are

faulty from the start. Fuji techs first tried to tell me it wasn't a Fuji system. ThThedecided it was....Then took 3 weeks to replace the controller, sending out a guy who literally had never seen one before and had worked at the company for a month. It still doesn't work. At best it provides on/off function, I have 5 zones and none of them operate properly. 2 rooms where it pumps out air - even when they're turned off - while the rest of the house nothing happens. 100% not recommended.

reoccurrence that this designer series doesn't last as one would hope. I bought the unit back in Nov 2015 and officially died on Dec 2022. When the unit was working, it's a nice unit. Cools and heats room quickly and the feature I love the most is the quite mode. Very pleasant when you love sleeping in a quite environment. The only cons I have to say when it's operational is the slider mechanism which takes a long time to open/shut before the air vent can start operating. Over time the slider cogs became more nosier as the years goes by but it didn't bother me that much and I never had any slider issues. Been told and read that this is the unit's Achilles heel in terms of fault. Furthermore, the remote control is quite out dated and very clunky to set simple timer schedules. The menu layout and programs needs to be refreshed when compared to its competitors especially for their asking price range. Would I recommend this AC? Yes, if you love the looks and don't mind replacing it sooner that expected. No for those who wants a reliable unit. I'd recommend just getting the normal looking facia that opens and closes like a generic split unit.

Starting with a Pro, it’s great in summer, the whole house cools quickly as an air-conditioning system should do. In winter though, the heating is… Read more
not as great compared to other systems available. It does quickly take the chill away, but can take a while to really heat up. The heating system would take at least an hour to climb 1 degree and it wouldn’t reach the set temperature of 22 degrees Celsius. When it got to 19-20 degrees, it started to blow cool air over our heads (very uncomfortable during winter days). It was explained to us that the system will back off when it gets near the set temperature when the fan is set on Medium. So, in winter when it’s really cold, that weak air flow will become cold as well (makes no sense to me why they design it like this for heating). The only way to keep it blowing hot air is to set it on high, this would eventually lead to the house heating past the set temperature where it wouldn’t self-turn off when it reached temperature. The only thing we could do was set it on a timer to run for 2-3 hours and switch it back on if it was still cold. Not very efficient, effective or automatic and would be very expensive to run if we let it run its climate control way. The unit also has a defrost mode, where it can take 20mins or more to start heating, or stops midway to run the defrost mode.
Install Pitfalls: After install, check that the ducts have been taped properly. We found that some of the ducts had not been properly taped up or at all, one duct was even scored across. We had to tape these up ourselves so the hot air was not flowing out into the roof space but towards the rooms in the actual house. The unit itself had also not been taped up on one side, so again a lot of hot air was escaping from that part.
We went with a HVAC installer who used subcontractors to do each part of the job, which we didn’t know that was how they worked and we wouldn’t recommend it. They turned out to be a service which stopped when the money was paid and provided mediocre service when the system didn’t work properly, instead of sending in the original installers to fix it properly. Telling us there was no problem, until we went into the roof ourselves and found things hadn’t been done properly.
The installers also did not install drain pipes in the outdoor condenser to direct the water away from our house. They also did not install the condenser on feet to raise it so we could add the drains in ourselves, when we found this issue and saw that the condenser will produce a lot of water during heat mode. The manufacturer advise that it is not a requirement, but a recommendation to install the drains and to install on feet, so we are left with a problem that will damage our house structure over time. So make sure you instruct your installer to install the drain pipes and direct it into a drain or at least away from the house.
The huge twin condenser fans of a 16kwh unit are scary when they are blowing outside and you can feel the draw from the fans.

technicians of King Cooling and Heating company (who installed) come to fix again and again. It is very bad product. I have it by the support of the Merri-Bek council to pensioners. I request the Fujitsu should replace another rather than sent technicians because it is faulty product. I am very disappointed when the weather is very cold and they do not working.

aircon. There is just one outdoor unit and it is about the same size as a single aircon outdoor unit. The indoor unit is in the ceiling space. The wall monitor is unobtrusive and fairly easy to use.
We are more than happy with both cooling and heating. Great to be able to set to automatically start an hour before we wake in winter so our home is nice and warm when we get up. It is very quiet and no problem at all sleeping with it on - which occasionally we did in summer. Seems to be quite economical to run also.

simple to use and produces clear good quality pdf format images with provided software, book flattening software is also good. This scanner has turned out to be exceptional value for money and easy to use. Would recommend it to those on a budget who can set it up in a designated space where template background mat can be left beneath the scanner.

the scanner wasn't recognised by one of the laptops. After 2 days & a support call to ScanSnap, the problem was the Trend Micro v17.8 update. I havve to disabloe the Trend Micro antivirus, start SvanSnap, and then restart Trend Micro. This is a great little scanner, just watch out for your antivirus software stuffing up the Scanning software.
