I had high expectations for the HoMedics Therapist Select Plus after hearing good things about it, but my experience has been disappointing. The six… Read more

interchangeable heads are a great feature, allowing for targeted muscle relief, and the rubber grip handle is comfortable to hold. The battery life is decent, lasting up to 4 hours on a full charge.

However, the build quality feels cheap, with the plastic casing lacking the premium feel you'd expect at this price. The motor is louder than advertised, which can be annoying during use. Most importantly, the percussion isn’t as powerful as I’d hoped, especially on higher settings, and it struggles to provide effective deep tissue relief. While it has its perks, the HoMedics Therapist Select Plus falls short in performance and durability, and I would recommend looking for other options if you're after a more powerful and quiet massage gun.

Great machine – Pricey but on the plus side you can use it non stop and it relieves you of any pains

Okay, doesn't really fit my feet – The massager is okay given it's a machine. My size 8 feet swim in the huge foot area, and never feel like they are in the right spot when compressed… Read more

into place. Probably better for size 11+ feet. (Although the massaging roll area is so small it would only massages half a big foot!) Good strong massage though. It has 5 settings which is good. BUT a very small, "hook" like thingy (that claws back and forth like a finger with a long nail) is the only thing that massages the whole heel. Weird and irritating! There are other foot massages on Amazon and ebay that get much better, raving reviews. Should have listened! I can't recommend this one.

Happy with purchase – I suffer from bad neck and thoracic back pain that never goes away, no medications help so I got the Shiatsu cordless neck and shoulder heat… Read more

massager, it’s money well spent.

It says it takes 4 hours to charge with the included charger cord and plug but it didn’t take that long and it had a working time of 45 minutes with or without heat, it has 4 large moving nodules, that’s 2 each side and they work in one direction for a bit and then turn in the other direction, it really is quite powerful.

It’s recommended a 15 minute use at a time but that was enough for me as my back is so sore it’s painful to touch but after using it on my neck and back within the 15 minute time I felt a whole lot better and I was able to move my neck without it hurting, the massager really feels like it’s getting out all the knots.

It has a strap on it and I have it strapped to the back of my chair at my desk so I use it While doing emails etc and it’s very stable and does not move.

The only 1 downside is the power button does NOT light up when it’s on but it’s not a big issue as you will know when it’s on because when you press the start button the massagers start spinning and the power button flashes while it’s charging but it’s very hard to see as it’s not very bright but when it’s fully charged the power button stops flashing and stays on but again you have to get close to see it.

I’m very happy with this, and recommend for anyone with back neck and shoulder pain.

to family and friends. Time to upgrade to the latest and more powerful Digital (EMS) Electrical Muscle Stimulation Unit from ~ homemedics.com.au. This EV-906 has 4 channel output ~ meaning this time I can use 8 contact pads at once, is rechargeable and comes with an assortment of 22 different Adhesive Electrodes, pictured guide on pad placements for varying issues and a reasonble how to set up guide with 18 TENS, 14 EMS and 5 Pelvic preset Programs. I only use EMS settings but might investigate the other options later. Delivery was 2 business days, Express Aust Post. My Sciatica has always been under control from using my previous unit, now it is the time to stimulate the muscles at the top of the thighs that can atrophy through lack of fitness and old age ~ and it works great. New Years Eve, used 4 pads on left knee and 4 pads around my left hip joint ~ danced all night, my body stayed upright and woke feeling no strain. Fantastic.

Disappointing. Item won't charge less than 2 years after purchase. Dead as the proverbial dodo. Won't be buying this brand again.

market for a simple sound machine with a light, this is the one to buy. I didn't realise it was rechargeable until I got it home and plugged it in but honestly it's such a great feature, it's really convenient if this is something that you can't sleep without, it's so easy to take out and about with you if you have babies that sleep with white noise or you are travelling, it's so small so it's easy to fit in. It does what it's supposed to do and isn't super expensive. I'd recommend these to anyone looking for a product like this.
