Terrible – Worst vacuum cleaner ever in 40 yrs of buying household products. Only used a handful of times, overheated every time and now just stopped working. … Read more

Cleaned after every use but why? Should not have to. No suction whatsoever, thought there must be a blockage, no blockage. I am returning to get money back and never will purchase Electrolux again. Get this off the market now.

I'm a dog and cat owner with hard floors and a few rugs. Bags for my old barrel electrolux became difficult to find (and I couldn't get the hose to… Read more

stay on, or the dogs to stop shedding, or the house to keep clean.. sigh) so I found the bagless PC91ANIMAT which had a good Choice review. And it's Red!!!

I must confess, I don't vacuum often, so it takes a hammering when I do. And I have an old house with lots of nooks and crannies that traditional vacuum heads don't often reach but dog hair does.

This is an amazingly powerful vacuum. Either of the two heads work a treat on the hard floor, and the brush tool works well as a duster and cobwebber. The brush tool does get clogged more than I like as it has a wide mouth and weirdly narrow apeture into the wand. It's easy to unclog and the aperture has an openable "jaw". I'm just not sure of the design logic though.

The bagless bit is easy to empty, and if you need to, you can check the waste for those $2 coins and various things you shouldn't have vacuumed, which I appreciate.

Annoyingly, not everything goes into the"bag" area. Tissues (me)and chewed up toilet roll bits (jack russell) get stuck in another chamber. Not a biggy to empty, just annoying that they don't go into the bag chamber.

On my rugs, I have to turn the suction down, yes there is a handy slide for that, or else I'll suck my rugs into the vacuum cleaner.

The power cord is long enough for me to plug in centrally and do the entire house.

It's light enough to easily drag through the many, many doorways I have. Although, another handle would have been good to be able to carry it upright (I mentioned the many doorways at my place), and I'm pretty sure carrying it by the hose is not recommended in the long run.

It's also pretty quiet for a vacuum cleaner, the dogs still freak out, but eh, dogs.

It has a slot for the hose and wand, so you don't have to lay it down while your are moving stuff, but I REALLY wish it had a similar slot for when the vacuum cleaner is up on it's butt for storage. Hose and wands are a pain in the cupboard.

One of the most useless vacuum cleaners I’ve ever owned. Was gifted this for a birthday present. 2 months in and the metal pole rod clip just fell… Read more

off and snapped.

The main head keeps detaching from the pole, the pole keeps detaching from the main hose.

As far as pet hair goes, I’ve had better in far cheaper cleaners.

Used on both carpet and tiles. Vacuum head continues to swivel upside down and doesn’t even follow you anywhere you want it

Really impressed with this vacuum cleaner. First the suction is amazing, I only use 1/3-1/2 power, full power is too much and difficult to move the… Read more

wand. The unit is compact and easy to move around the home, I like that the wheels do not get caught on edges of furniture or walls. The power cord is more than sufficient for my needs, and the retraction is easy to use with your foot and fast and secure. The metal wand is great, feels sturdy and robust, I like that the hose handle and wand lock into place, unlike cheaper brands that need to be aligned straight each time you take the hose off the wand. I have two autistic so sons who hate the noise of previous vacuum cleaners. Not this one, it is so quiet at only 1/2 power i can vacuum in the morning without waking them. Finally the dust bin. Super easy to empty, I’ve used it three times for the whole house and it’s only 1/2 full. Comes with handy attachments and storage is simple taking up less than 1 metre tall x 40cm wide, so fits easily into a broom cupboard. Really satisfied with this, well done Electrolux.
