Rented a vehicle from this app twice, poor serviceThe first time renting a vehicle for a day, the gas tank was emptied and the light was on before I started to drive. GREAT.
The second time to rent a vehicle again, the owner cancelled my book at the last minute. And customer service replied me nothing I can do about it, can even leave a review for the owner. VERY HELPFUL.

Rejected application - no reason given and no escalation, terrible customer serviceI just tried opening an account with them to rent cars on the odd weekend after selling our car, come to find my application was 'rejected'. I have a good credit score (just bought an apartment), never been in an accident, no... Read more criminal charges, 24... no idea why I'm having issues. So, I gave them a call and they refused to explain why I was rejected, no reason as to why and no escalation process. Let alone the customer service representative was incredibly rude and condescending. Their loss, going with Flexicar.

Convenient & affordableI live in the middle of a large city, and gave up on car ownership about 5 years ago. Read moreg EV owners in the EVEE-verse close by, tons of options and fast feedback on rental requests. Web browser interface is well designed & very easy to use. Participating owners are all great in my experience, delighted to help clients enthusiastic about the EV future, and almost always flexible about dropoff/pickup, extending the rental etc. Tolls and charging fees take a little while to work their way through the system, but again, owners relaxed about that and me too.

horrible systemkeycard does not allow access to car if reservation was made/modified in less than 24 hours. horrible system. waited 30 mins and still waiting as I am typing this for a call back from the technician to fix this. i have now given up and taken an uber. unbelievable. use flexi/ go get instead.

False advertising and arrogant staffsLast month I opened my account by using a promo code to have $80 complimentary credits for new users. I received the credits successfully and it shows as balance in my Flexicar wallet. My friends who redeemed the same promo c... Read moreode and had successfully used the credits for trips. However, when I was trying to use complimentary credits to finalise my trip, my account was placed on hold and I was required to pay by my card even the credits displayed in wallet. I called their customer service and reported the story, she said I never ever had the 80 bucks credits and asked me to sent email because she couldn't do anything for me even no Sorry! A couple of days later, I explained to their service team via email and attached the screenshot showing my credits balance. The reply explained my credits were totally system errors and they wouldn't do any compensation and just closed the case. I have put so much time and work, queuing in line for half a hour and got nothing left except the 80AUD lying in my account which will be never alive, as it's a system error.
