Good for the price – Firstly the 5 stars is based on a purchase price of $128. The speakers are a very competent set of bookshelf speakers. Decent mids; but treble isn’t… Read more

crisp and bass isn’t deep enough to replace a small sub.

Because of the internal equaliser this speaker doesn’t suit any studio work as it will not play raw sound. This internal equaliser suits newer music like pop/rnb/electro more than classical and classic rock etc.

Will be loud enough to use in a small room but not likely for a house party.

Edifier S3000pro speakers...wow – Well, now I know the specs say it goes down to 38hz...cool story Edifier, got me...they actually go down to 23hz! Audible! I know that sounds… Read more

ridiculous, and honestly, the sound out of the box is good, the best DSP mode is Dynamic, and second is Vocal...look, all in all, if you want high quality speakers, I think these are your best bet at getting real sound to your ears. Just buy them, you won't regret it. I have them hooked up to my computer through USB, and they have been running now for 2 weeks without any problems what so ever. I did EQ them a good amount, but it's all pretty much room noise. JUST, BUY THEM. DO IT!

Outstanding – Outstanding performance for the cost. I downsized from a large suburban brick house to a very simple, small timber cabin. My much-loved 2.2 + hybrid… Read more

amp simply wouldn't fit.

After much researching... This freakin little 2.1 getup, at literally 1/20th the cost of my big boy mains, subs & hybrid amp, is doing a simply brilliant job. Clear highs, fresh mids, tasty lows (yes, good drum!). It's beautifully finished too. I don't know what i'm going to do with that stereo gear, but for now i'm happy. Forget soundbars, this Edifier kit is ridiculous value for money & sound.

the sound is quite far reaching in the room, l looked around for this speaker after reading some reviews as l knew l wanted an edifier speaker again just not which model, when l seen this from JW Computers on ebay at an excellent price, by far the cheapest l had seen, most were around the $135 mark, so l saved over $20.00 from JW, could not be happier.

Amazing Sound for the Price! – Great little package with lots of connections available. They sound is really amazing for how much these cost. They do lack some richness and depth… Read more

to the bass, but still very capable for the size of the drivers. I take these away with me when staying in hotels etc as they are easy to set up and can crank up surprisingly loud with no distortion. Remote is a bit cheap and crappy but does the jo otherwise I couldn't fault them.

Before I start, I bought a second set for my TV. Overall, a very pleasant listening experience and seriously difficult to beat in this price range.… Read more

I find it very nice for a wide range of music.

I purchased this system to plug into my Yamaha P45 keyboard and it dramatically improved the quality with a few tweaks of the treble and bass.

If you're buying these for a a PC you're getting more than a PC speaker, you're getting a nice little sound system you can connect to your phone via Bluetooth, plug in a RCA turntable, or old iPod classic if you've got one.

Very decent, mostly nice and mostly impressive base for its size, but struggles with it's highest volume with heavy very low frequency base beat. Boombayah - BLACKPINK (a good heavy base test song), at the loudest volumes there's noticeable distortion, though not to bad and suffers from some volume drop out. Adding a subwoofer using the subwoofer out option makes these issues disappear and is transformational for this type of music.

burnt in. But amazing difference. Much deeper and cleaner bass and treble not so sharp. More definition in mid range and an overall warmer sound. Played favourites for 5 hours. Everything sounded better. For $750 these are amazing.

Great Active Noise Cancelling Headphones that won't break the bank – I was in the market for a new pair of noise cancelling headphones and came across the Edifier W820NB Bluetooth Headphones with Active Noise… Read more

Cancelling (ANC).

For a pair of headphones with this tech is amazing when priced well under $100 AUD (purchased for $79 at Centre Com).

The package is lack lustre and contains the headphones and a USB-C Charding cable. There is a tiny manual and that's pretty much it in the box. What these headphones lack in the box make up for features and battery life. I cannot compare against better known brands but the features suit me to a T and the price is right on point!

The W820NB Headphones are 85% charged straight from the box and I was eagre to test these straight away. Buttons are tactile in feel and although the headphones are not priced as premium I feel they will last if you look after them (I purchased a seperate hard shell headphone case for when theyre not being used). Buttons for control are on the right-hand ear cup and are easy to navigate when you know the feel of the button shapes.

Turning on the headphones requires a 3 sec hold on the power button so it will be hard to accidentially thurn these on but not impossible. Pairing the headphones is easy (I use Apple) and the headphones appear on all devices when searching for bluetooth pairing. There is no cable jack capability on these headphones whatsoever buth this is not going to be an issue with the excellend battery life and fast charge times. a quick 15min charge yields 2 hrs playtime if you get caught short. Charging is via USB-C so no weird proprietary cables needed here. More on battery life later...

The same bluetooth button allows for changing the listening modes of which there are 3. First is Noise Cancelling ON, Second is Noise Cancelling OFF, and lastly there is AMBIENT where sound from the environment comes through the headphones. Great if you're in an environment where you need to be aware of your surroundings. There is also a gaming mode to reduce latency but I doubt I'll need that - who knows?

Volume Up/Down buttons work well and can be used to skip tracks fwd/bwd with a long-press. A short-press on the power button will pause your track, netflix or youtube being watched. You can also make and receive calls with these headphones and the included mic offers a rich audible sound for the other end of the call.

Sound from the headphones is full in my opinion with the treble not too bright and the base not too deep. These are not cheap sounding headphones and there is plenty of note separation so music is not sounding muddy and dull. Edifier do have an app you can use and I thought there may have been a way to tweak the settings for your desired listening tastes, but the app does not have this function. Large 40mm drivers with titanium diaphragm delivers crystal-clear sound to your ears and these headphones support the Hi-Res Audio standard for a rich listening experience. Basically they sound great!

Changing settings via the bluetooth button gives you a clear voice confirmation for changing between the noise cancelling modes - a nice touch and great feature.

Build quality and comfort I wear glasses and these headphones are comfortable to wear for extended periods. The clamping force is just right for my noggin and my ears do not get too hot given these are ear-enclosed headphones and the memory foam helps to keep out surrounding sound too.

The Edifier WB820NB use the bluetooth 5 standard and have fabulous range in real world conditions. I can walk up the other end of the house and still hear the TV through walls as the bluetooth signal has great penetration and distance from your connected device.

The build is plastic and I can see no metal parts in the construction so care will be needed when storing these in a back pack or bag. The headphones do not fold like some do to reduce their storage size but the ear cups do swivel to flat if you have these around your neck. They fit nicely in the hard-shell headphone case I purchased seperately.

Noise cancelling is AMAZING and works well in my real world testing. The headphones can easliy eliminate car and fan sounds as well as general speach. I'm sure these are going to be great on a plane.

Battery life is reported to be one of the best at 49 hours! This is without using Active Noise Cancelling (ANC). When using ANC this reduces to around 30 hours! This is still exceptional battery life for the average traveller.

All up these are $79 headphones that are punching well above their weight. The headphones lack some features like tweaking sound in the app ut remember these are sub hundred dollar headphones. The app shows battery percentage, noise reduction on/off and there is a volume slider for ambient sound customisation from -3 to +3. Low latency game mode can also be turned on/off here too.

At this price point you cannot go wrong with enough features to make these a great starting point for those who want to try active noise cancelling technology without throwing big money at headphones.

Good sound, nice looking – Just brought these as wanted to move my Amp and record player/radio to another room. I needed a unit that could pack some punch and cover my TV and… Read more

computer. This does both.

I initially thought the speakers sounded tinny, but do not notice this at all and the move I use them the more I am impressed with the clarity and the sound volume.

The speakers are powered with the right hand speaker needing a power point and speaker cable then connecting to the left hand speaker. The on switch is at the rear of the right hand speaker with the controller only controlling the volume up and down and mute. On the side of the right hand speaker is the master volume control and bass and treble. I have found this useful especially for movies when the music is too loud, turning up the treble makes the voices a little clearer.

The speakers look good and are small but not overly so. They have worked well for my TV set up connecting via RCA cables and with my computer connecting via RCA to a 3.5mm jack.

I have not been able to remove the dust covers as yet. They seem to be very firmly attached, though the pictures on the website show them removed. I plan to contact Edifier to query this in the coming days.

Very happy with my purchase.

Beefy bass = plenty of bang for your buck – I would give this subwoofer a higher rating if (IF) it had a more sensitive volume control. Playing music relatively quietly requires getting the… Read more

right level of bass - and that is sometimes important to me. Those who like a strong bass line regardless will be happy with what I'll call raw beef. In addition, I like subtly. Good bass exhibits 'decay' - the run-off of frequencies around each separate note. The T5 falls a little short on this criterion, say compared to a comparable Polk subwoofer. But the Polk is twice the price. At a bargain price of $200 the T5 Edifier from Centercom, certainly does a reasonable job of beefing up a basic sound system. If that's your goal, go grab one. If however you want to enhance your stereophonic listening pleasure, it could be worth it to buy something at twice the price. POST SCRIPT - I added an additional volume control to this unit and got much better control over bass volume and thus a far better balance with the main speakers.
