I’ve been using this product for 10 years and literally it gave me Jennifer Anniston Friends hair colour. The new formula is horrid. I can’t even… Read more
blow dry my hair after using the new formula as my hair is a better match colour and texture to my front door mat! Cleverly I thought I’d try and source 40, yes, 40 of the old formula online, but Loreal tricky rat bags even changed the formula within the box as a slow change out so now I’m stuck with 40 of the nasty new formula even tho they put the lovely conditioner with honey in the box, the actual colour formula is changed to the new version. My hair is doormat dull brown now and is dull and lifeless and as I said, I can’t blow dry it as the chemicals Loreal is now using destroys hair. I worked for Loreal for a number of years and suggested they sell the conditioner with honey as it’s so fabulous. Some st^pid answer was given as an affirmative no and now even thats not available. Shame on you Loreal. Over COVID in Sydney Loreal switched formulas as there must have been sourcing problems but it returned back to normal after complaints so all please complain if you are as equally disappointed. I had been using this product for 20 or more years & used to love it. THEN THEY CHANGED THE FORMULA & NOW ITS TERRIBLE!!! It doesn't mix now matter… Read more
how hard or how long you shake the bottle its hard to apply. It fades quickly & my hair is splitting for the first time ever & has become more sensitive to using heat styling. I will be switching brands until you change it back to the original formula. I don't know why you changed it in the first place? Are you not reading your reviews? Do you not run testing with you end users? I'm very disappointed.
Does not wash out, do not recommend for brunettes – This is not a semi permanent color. After +20 washes, color has gone from blue to green and still showing in brunette hair that has never been coloured before. Off to the hair dresser to fix. Do not recommend as does not work as per advice. Show details
Do not buy the new formula!!!! It will slowly but surely damage your hair!! Have been using the Loreal Elvive Total Repair 5 shampoo and… Read more
conditioner for five or so years. Was a great product. Left my thick, long and wavy hair that is coloured (not bleached) in wonderful soft shiny and manageable condition.
Over last the 6mths or so my hair became increasingly dry, brittle, lacking shine and movement and prone to excessive frizz and breakage!
Thought i was doing something wrong. I wasnt.
It clicked that the product didnt feel or smell the same as always so did some research and turns out they changed their formulas in 2025 but didnt tell consumers!!
Loreal took ALL the good stuff out and replaced it with high levels of sulphates and detergent based formula, and all the nourishing oils etc are either gone entirley, or reduced to barely there (check old vs new ingredients - AI can help tell you what changed…as well as reviews from multiple other sites stating the same issue as I've experienced)
Have now moved to Pantene Bioton range with fortnightly organic coconut oil masks to help repair all the damage new formula caused! Is helping and my hair is slowly healing but will take time to repair all the damage.
It made my hair green!!!! – This color first off was supposed to be blue and my head is green. It said 4-8 shampoos to wash out and I’ve shampooed 10 times with little to no… Read more
fade. I’m very angered by my green hair because I noticed on other reviews this has happened to people as well. I DO NOT. Recommend buying this color at least. I was looking for a change and turned out with seaweed hair:(
Not good – I was recommended this by a hair dresser for blond streaked hair which is naturally dark blond. I found it makes my hair feel course and dry. Show details
Effective for me and my daughter after 2 sets. My daughter and I had quite a lot of hair lost. I am 42 years old and she is 13 years old. I decided… Read more
to have blood test and change our shampoo products. We both have lower iron from our blood result. And i bought a set of L'Oréal Paris L'Oréal Paris Elvive Growth Booster Anti-Fall Scalp Serum and shampoo and conditioner. Also, my daughter stopped using any hairmask since day 1. We started iron tablets twice a week and changed the hairwash products. After using 2 full sets, our hair lost dramatically improved. My daughter washes her hair every second day. It is very effective for both of us. Very happy about it. It has been 3 months, we will continue using it. I would recommend it.
I tried this my first time , it turns out very dark like black and my hair turns dry, I will not purchase it again and I do not recommend it to anyone Show details
Don’t waste your money – I’m going grey, and I haven’t dyed my hair for several months over lockdowns. Thought I would try this grey spray just to get a slight idea of what I… Read more
might look like fully grey. As previous poster says, it’s just like a weird powder glitter that really does nothing. Maybe it would in a jumbo sized can. This tiny can had starting RRP $15 - I got it heavily reduced, just for a bit of a fun experiment. So glad I never paid full price! Wasn’t worth the $2.50 I paid for it.
Diluted spray-on hair colour lacks sufficient coverage – This spray-on colour touch-up used to be one of my favourite products. It used to provide good coverage for grey hair and felt light on the hair.… Read more
However, as of late, the spray seems diluted, requiring a large quantity of product to achieve even lesser coverage. My hair feels and looks wet afterwards. Additionally, it makes it feel greasy. The ‘Cool Dark Brown’ colour also leaves a red tinge.
I read many positive reviews about this product range before deciding to purchase (guess I should have paid more attention to the1 stars). Being the… Read more
eternal optimist, I thought maybe someone had finally made something to control my coarse frizzy hair. I don't know who all these 5 star reviewers are but I suspect their frizz is probably far from problematic. All I can say is thankfully I bought the 4 products in the range at 40% off otherwise I'd be writing to Loreal to demand a refund. Not only did it not deliver as promised but my hair was left even more dry, dull and frizzy than before despite using exactly as directed. Even if it was of some benefit I would have been satisfied but for my hair to be in worse condition is devastating. So I have wasted $60 and am back at less than square one, lesson learned. I hope this review saves others from the same disappointment. Trust me girlfriends, coconut oil is the only thing that comes close to helping. Good luck on your frizz taming journey ....
