I have to say tho the support team from westinghouse have been amazing and very understanding. I could not find a replacement glass and they have sent one out. That is customer service. This new one heats up very quickly compared to the old one. The heat is even and I love the bright interior light and big window enabling me to see what's going on inside. I haven't used the griller bit much but I certainly like the fact that I can heat up only one side if I'm doing small things ... simple power-saving idea! I'm sure the novelty will wear off but I'm really enjoying cooking fancy things requiring even heat that my old oven simply couldn't have coped with. I feel like I'm now set for another 30 years. No hesitations in recommending this oven.

control are very easy to operate It has two slide out trays, and one roasting, and one baking tray. Has Airfry option, Fan forced, Bake, Grill, Fan Grill. minutes longer to cook anything in the oven and I have to boost the temperature up an extra 30 degrees to get a result like 210 Celsius to cook something that should cook easily at 180. I came from a house with an old stand alone gas oven with a fan and it is 30 years old and 10 times more affective at cooking. This Westinghouse oven is garbage. Do not buy Westinghouse ovens they seem to be very faulty.

Best decision choosing this oven – Firstly I love the size, I love the look and it is really easy to use. It beeps once it has reached the pre set temperature and indicates when it is cooling down. It has the pyrolytic cleaning and air fryer.

digital screen so there is no way of knowing if the oven has reached desired temperature (without buying oven thermometer). Display is for clock/time and remains on that whether oven is on/off. Need to double check that knob is off. Would be easier if on display.

latch and thermometer are broken and it isn't worth replacing. Very poor that an appliance that should last 10 to 15 years breaks just after 5 years. I won't be buying Westinghouse again.

Note: To their credit they did contact me and offer to look at it and work through the issue. However i couldn't wait and oredered another brand.

To respond to the comments in a negative review below...

1) yes you grill with the door closed... just like every oven i have used for the last 25 years. And??? So you can't use a non oven safe frypan in the oven... this seems like common sense, and if anything a negative comment to make about one's choice of frypan... it is hardly the oven's fault that it gets hot; that's what ovens are supposed to do. If you want a frypan that works in an oven, buy one.

2) it is completely false to say nothing browns in this oven... it's an oven. Food browns if you set it correctly. And there's zero evidence of it being inaccurate in its temperature settings. It works as i expect at temperatures that i have previously used in other ovens. Based on the criticism below, i got out my calibrated thermocouple and checked it... as per the photo below, it is within 3 degrees C of set- point, in less time than the instructions say should be allowed for preheating. This is within 1.5%, which is very, VERY good for a commercial, non-scientific product. In my experience as an engineer buying accurate equipment, things start getting extremely expensive if you want better than the normal commercial level of 2% accuracy. And this is a modestly priced consumer product that's accurate to around 1%. So if a user has a problem with THIS oven performing to their expectations, it is the expectations that are wrong, not the oven.

3) And yes it defaults to a different temperature in different modes, OF COURSE. Thats because you need a higher temperature to do air frying than normal roasting (for example) so it defaults to what's probably going to be a good choice for that mode, and then you adjust from there if you feel it appropriate for what you're cooking. This is intelligent and thoughtful design, not a fault. ...if THAT's the biggest problem, you don't have much to complain about.

I also like that the baking tray does double duty as a drip tray under the air frier shelf. This has the hidden benefit that it isn't costing you storage space in your cupboard when you aren't using it.

evident that the oven seems more like an 'air fryer' than an oven. Having had Westinghouse ovens over many years I was pleased to hear they were being producing ovens again in Australia. However not so sure as I soon discovered that the Fan forced cannot be turned off so s to operate just as an oven for baking a roast. As a result it dries the food out if cooking a roast or any dish removing most moisture or liquid, such as or a dish which contains liquid of any kind whether meat or chicken topped with potatoes which requires open top so as to lightly brown layered potato or a cauliflower dish such as au gratin such as with cheese topping.

Another issue is the shelving which is NOT flat but curved at both front and back and so dishes cannot be slid out of the oven but LIFTed over the raised lip without catching the bottom of dish on the edge of the shelf? For decades I have cooked in ovens and NEVER had to be concerned about removing pans from oven. So which deisn guru decided this was a great moderation to existing ovens which have worked... for decades?

Finally, on the temperature dial / knobs, the temperature knob readings are unevenly spaced making it difficult to align knob and temperature as stated, and to differentiate between precise degrees 150, 160, or 160 / 170, 180 , 200 degrees etc as all being listed very close together as to where the marker on the dial aligns with the true temperature? Rather than marked as 100 at 1'oclock, 120 at 2 oclock as used to be the NORM , and 180 an 6 oclock 200 degrees at 8 oclock etc. evenly spaced, There is no digital readout for exact temperature. Why is keep warm situated at 90 degrees from the topand the temperatures all squeezed in close together? ?? How does one know what exact temperature is set at when trying to align a mark on a knom with a bent like on the wall of the dashboard? If I had the choice I would NOT have purchased this oven. If it ain't broke why do companies insist on messing with what has worked for years?? As to how satisfied with features and design .. am not in any way enamoured. . The way food is cooked... am also not.Just seems like a cheap oven and cannot understand why it has been given 5 stars on many commercial review sites.

door stopper is even worse by nearly 40c out but only colder compared to set temp... This was after an hour of warming up, got to its alleged temperature within 20-25 minutes but after that it didn't budge.

out a technician, said that the top panel is most likely shorting out on the fan terminal because poor design and it's not insulated. Then the technician wouldn't re fit the oven and I had to pay another $300 to get someone out for a 5 minute job.

So it has worked for the last couple of months. Now it is shorting out again. Waiting for a technican to come out. It was intermittent at the start, and the whole oven rattles alot.

The trim keeps popping off and not staying. See photo. The glass almost fell out because I couldn't open the oven door because the trim popped out and was getting stuck.

There is also a annoying white dot inside the LCD Screen.

I've had enough and want it replaced.

A technician came out to look at it. He had said there are multiple issues with this oven, better to replace it.

Then a couple weeks later, Westinghouse sent out another technician because they didn't get the report from the first one.

3 weeks in and still don't have a working oven >.<.

certificate for warranty requirements. Albeit the height and level adjustments were a bit finicky I achieved a perfect fit into the cabinet using spacers from Bunnings. The Westinghouse instructions were exceptionally good and overall, installation was easy. The two Westinghouse mounting screws are 20mm long and way too short for chipboard cabinets, with added stress due opening and closing the oven door. Westinghouse, this is penny pinching - the length of these screws should be 30mm.

The oven is exceptionally well insulated and there is no notable rise in room temperature with the oven on. No odd odours or any issues. Build quality is also good - in fact, better than many premium opposition brands.

Unfortunately, there is one huge downside. This oven does not display the current temperature at all. It operates totally blind. Unlike many ovens, this one is all about trust, and little else. We made the fatal mistake by assuming that this basic feature would be standard. We now have to rely on the accuracy of the oven thermostat, and an almost unnoticeable tiny green light that goes off when the set temperature is reached. Sometimes, after baking one may want to put the food back into the oven either to cook more or to reheat. Not knowing what the temperature is, the oven may either be too hot or too cold. So one would have to start all over by resetting the required temperature and wait for the green light to go out. It's the most ridiculous and stupid scenario. Also, one has to stand far back to see the green indicator light. Our perception went from disappointed, to flabbergasted and then disgusted.

Called Westinghouse customer care. Their response was that the "missing" feature was only on their premium models with all the bells and whistles. Well we looked at those and were put off as most of these added "premium " options were nothing but slick marketing. Gimmicky features like a self-cleaning ovens and more. And no difference as far as build quality goes. We have learnt from experience that more often than not, more means less and more for maintenance and replacement costs.

Westinghouse service was really good. Initially, the assistant listened intently and was thorough throughout the conversation, taking notes and a promise of a callback. They did call back and again, the assistant was exceptionally pleasant to deal with. She concurred with my sentiments but couldn't offer any recourse but an apology. Even after I had pointed out that had we known, we would never have purchased this oven. In my opinion, a temperature indicator gauge should be a standard feature, on all ovens - full stop.

Ratings. For customer service: 5 Star. For build quality, reliability and installation instructions: 5 Stars minus 3 Stars for the inadequate fixing screws and the missing temperature indicator gauge.
