I was very happy with Katrina who cleaned over and above what was needed. She cleaned my house twice and then I was told she won't be cleaning for me anymore. Another cleaner contacted me and said he was too busy to clean and that he would contact me in the New Year. Not happy about this. Show 3 replies

a bug in the app. While I was trying to resolve the issue with support, [Name Removed] sent me a letter threatening legal action and saying a summons would be issued….literally the same day the support team is trying to help me! [Name Removed] also responded with a very rude attitude throughout the process. It really felt like there was no care or understanding for cleaners at all.

I repeatedly asked for a bank account number so I could pay the fees while the portal was not working, but no alternative payment option was provided.

The whole situation has been extremely frustrating, unfair and completely unprofessional.

Cleaner didn’t clean everything properly. I would have to go over the cleaning after the cleaner left because things like vacuuming, mopping and cleaning bathrooms/toilet were not done properly.

First booking - poor attention to details, missed a lot of spot during cleaning. Also walking around the house with dirty shoes on? It is bad. Second booking - cleaner was a no show. Their cleaners are a hit and miss. May get one that’s good others are not. Unreliable. Work for a couple of weeks and then resign. The company keeps asking for a review after the first clean. Keep sending texts to see if the cleaner did their weekly cleans or missed - feel like they don’t trust their cleaners to pay the agency fee?

I tried to get a quote for a weekly cleaning service, which is advertised as $99 for 2 hours—unless the payment is through NDIS or a government agency. In that case, they give you a different quote. This feels like a scam. I'm tired of getting two different prices just because of government funding.

I would give zero stars if I could. My experience with this company was nothing short of shocking. I made contact very early in the week for a fortnightly house clean, only to be contacted the day before to organise a time. yet the cleaner's message was very different. I contacted Absolute Domestics to find out what was happening, and was told that they couldn't get a replacement and that they would organise someone for the following week.

The following week, I reached out to Absolute Domestics on numerous occasions starting early in the week to ensure everything was arranged and a timeslot locked in. I wasn't contacted back until 4.30pm the day before the clean to have a time arranged. The only timeslot available was 8am, which didn't suit my needs. I was told again that they couldn't find another cleaner, the day of the clean and that they would try again the following week.

This is now two weeks in a row that I have been let down by this company. Regardless of how many times you call or email them, they rarely get back to you, and if they do, it's the day before your clean is due, which is far too late to arrange a suitable timeslot. You're then promised another cleaner, but that doesn’t happen either.

If I'd known they were going to be so incompetent, I wouldn't have wasted my time.

I am extremely satisfied with the service Absolute Domestics provides. The cleaner, Jenkins, who was assigned to me, is efficient and highly competent. He needs very little guidance, just a list of tasks to be completed and he works independently and efficiently. Additionally, Absolute Domestics is very flexible. Sam came back after Christmas / New Year and as usual did a great job of cleaning our home. The place smells so fresh and looks so clean when she’s finished! Sam is always on time and friendly! If your looking for a good cleaner ask for Sam - highly recommended!! Show reply

All the cleaners we have hired from Absolute Domestics have been fantastic and very hard workers. They have cleaned the house in half the time I would manage to do it myself.

Very confusing process of getting a cleaner. The cleaner came once, did an ok job and no replacement has been made in time just useless texting. Very disappointed with the lack of client care.

Not consistent or thorough cleaning. The service consisted of predominantly a wipe over and dust. Products were provided but not often used and attention to detail was poor and reduced over time.
