meeting via their automated calendar system for 4:30 PM Sydney/Melbourne time, as indicated in their confirmation email. I allocated valuable working time specifically for this appointment. Technical Issues & Miscommunication: The initial meeting link provided was faulty and did not work correctly on my device (iPad). When I reached out for assistance, I was incorrectly informed that the meeting was scheduled for Brisbane time, not Melbourne time, causing further confusion and delay. No-Show & Wasted Time: I rescheduled for 7:30 PM Melbourne time and arrived five minutes early. No representative from the company connected to the meeting. This resulted in a complete waste of my time and a loss of potential income from a cleaning job I had forgone to attend. Poor Customer Service: When I called the office to address these repeated failures, the representative I spoke with was dismissive and repeatedly spoke over me, making a productive discussion impossible. The automated booking systems and internal communication processes are severely flawed, and the subsequent customer service interaction was unacceptable. Due to the lack of respect for my time and the highly unprofessional handling of multiple errors, I would not recommend anyone work for or with this company.

stress-free. It’s exactly the kind of working relationship we’d been hoping for, and one we’d struggled to find with other services (yes, the ones you’ve tried and have found just don’t quite meet the mark).

What we value most is the mutual trust and respect. If we ever need something, we know we can reach out to Astrid without hesitation, and she feels equally comfortable doing the same with us. That sense of partnership is rare, and we’re genuinely grateful for the care and attention she puts into helping us maintain our home.

Family Clean is slightly more expensive than other services, but the quality and reliability we receive from Astrid and the broader team more than justify the cost. Astrid has never cut a session short, in fact, she has often stayed beyond the scheduled time to finish tasks. She frequently takes initiative, assisting with jobs before we’ve even thought to ask or offering help when she sees a need.

These extra touches, everything from cat litter clean-outs and folding laundry, to clearing dust from the shoe rack and deep-cleaning exhaust fan covers, have given our family more time together, and that’s something you truly can’t put a price on!

spotless kitchen/living room floor. I had been so stressed about the state of my home, and was so ashamed I couldn't keep up by myself due to personal health issues and not being able to manage the mess a single parent family makes. Not any more! I have utmost confidence in my cleaner's abilities, and am so thankful for their kindness and understanding. Just one visit has lifted so much of my stress already now those areas are looking as clean as when we first moved in. I look forward to having our Family Clean cleaner back weekly to get the whole place in great shape again, so I can be more confident in keeping on top of it in-between their visits. Although the marketing included quite a bit of hype that didn't materialize, the service is, in the end, quality and very acceptable. I can recommend the company as one that monitors its cleaners and provides good, third party oversight. Show reply

Excellent. We have Denkar and Penjor from family clean for 5 hours every second week. They do an incredibly thorough job, my home is sparkling after they are finished. It feels like coming back to a hotel it’s so tidy and neat! Highly recommend them and family clean. Show reply

they are prompt, friendly, very kind and polite and love working around our dogs at home. They are always efficient and respectful of our home and do an excellent job keeping things clean in our busy lives. Would definitely recommend Family Clean to others.

Average clean – I had cleaned before arrival to ensure that the cleaner would have time to do a thorough clean of the townhouse. The bathroom floors where left with a sticky chalky residue, kitchen sink wasn’t cleaned, no dusting was done, no polishing. Nothing was cleaned besides from the work surfaces. Did do a good job of the shower and bath themselves. The cleaner was pleasant and kind which is why I give three stars. However, the reviews for this company left me with an expectation that it would be a good thorough clean before baby arrived but I have been left disappointed with work to do myself. Not worth the price charged. Won’t be using this company again.

Hopeless administration – This is the third time I've rung Family Clean and given them a wide range of dates and times for a spring clean. For example, any day over the next couple of weeks. On ALL occasions they haven't accommodated me. As a busy professional, in the end I'm wasting time chasing them. They still haven't given me the courtesy of a call back. My advice - don't bother with Family Clean, look elsewhere.

Great service from the Family Clean. As a busy professional living on my own I needed some help with my house in Canberra. The Family Clean found me amazing cleaners on the first go (Lobzang and Kinley, highly recommended). The house looks, feels and smells amazing after their visits, and I didn't have to do any of the 'finding and checking references' part - the head office took care of all of that. Love that freshly-cleaned house feeling – After a couple of false starts, Family Clean has found me a cleaner, Sam, who did a fabulous first clean. His communication leading up to the first appointment was excellent, and he arrived on time, and spent time with me at the beginning to clearly understand the cleaning tasks I wanted done.
