I was very happy with Katrina who cleaned over and above what was needed. She cleaned my house twice and then I was told she won't be cleaning for me anymore. Another cleaner contacted me and said he was too busy to clean and that he would contact me in the New Year. Not happy about this. Show 3 replies

Unprofessional and disappointing! moved to Australia. So I gave verbally instructions and told her what needed to be done- skirting boards and then general house clean and steam mop. This was also written down in a book on the table with a 3 page intro of our house and what we needed done. She was on a phone call, had a lots of notifications coming through and not focused. Her cleaning was under average, with water marks still on mirror and windows, sinks not cleaned, bins not moved to vacuum or mop under, bins not emptied, house not vacuumed properly. NO SKIRTING BOARDS WERE CLEANED! The one specific tasks I asked! I offered her a glass of water which she left on the bench half full, not placing it into the dishwasher and did not pack away the cleaning supplies back into the basket, leaving more mess for me to clean when she left. I found all the microfibres she used in my recycling bin, these are high quality that I purchased new for her. She opened packs of wipes wrong and then put them back in the basket on their side so all the liquid drained into the basket. She did not unplug my vacuum from the charger so used it while the charger was still connected, and left the dirty pad on the steam mop. Absolute Domestics have been EXTREMELY unhelpful! I called 7 times and went to voicemail! I have sent 3 emails and no email back! I have spoken to 3 people who will not process a refund! The cleaner messaged me asking if I took her off for ongoing shifts, very unprofessional. They can’t get in contact with the cleaner. This is breach of Australia Consumer Law, “Service providers must carry out all services using an acceptable level of care and skill. Their work must be at least as good as what a competent service provider with average skills and experience would provide. They must also take reasonable steps to avoid causing loss or damage when providing the service.” When I told Absolute Domestics this they said “you have to do what you have to do” I have provided all the evidence needed and they said they can’t do anything until they hear from the cleaner! This is the worst experience with a cleaning company! They told me her VISA wasn’t adding up as she told me she moved to Australia 2 weeks ago but on her VISA it said she moved here in September. This service was meant to help me but it’s made my job harder

Great cleaning – Aside from initial difficulty finding a cleaner, once a cleaner made contact they were a wonderful asset to assist with the cleaning of my home. Such a great time saver when there is so much other stuff needing to get done. My cleaner was on time, friendly, courteous and efficient.
Great service...sorry to gave to cancel due to personal reasons – I would absolutely recommend this service and have no hesitation in recommending them and my regular cleaner.

basically none existent! So don't try and ask for their insurance policy or expect if the cleaner damages anything for it to be covered.
One person [Name Removed] for the entire company spanning Australia and New Zealand handles all concerns with damages, theft, and insurances. He will flat out refuse to send an insurance assesor to you and would rather spend months upon months wasting the companies and my own time to refuse, deny fault and deflect any ownership of damages. Despite an insurance assessor costing the company nothing, it is this compabies mission to avoid fault and deny blame. Today I was told Absolute Domestics will not ever send an assessor to review my damages or anyone elses for that matter as it would mean they are "admitting liability". I believe their evasiveness to avoid insurance claims leads me to believe they do not hold insurance for damages, theft or faults.
Beware this company may [Content Removed] to have insurance to protect your home but it is basically an inaccurate [Content Removed]sense of security. AVOID!!!!

Terrible – First cleaner never turned up for 4 weeks so they sent another cleaner who was great and she only lasted 2 weeks. They have a lot of staff that just leave. Still waiting to hear about another cleaner but after 5 days of not hearing anything I just canceled

Wonderful Nicole – My husband and I turned to AD as we both lead busy lives and have a baby on the way. We had to trial a few cleaners and had almost given up before we found Nicole. She offers an amazing service — very thorough, high attention to detail and extremely professional. She goes above and beyond and does the little things you wouldn’t expect. We are very lucky to have her on board and never want to lose her!
Sonja is the best – Sonja Rare has been an amazing person to work with. She cleans beautifully, is reliable and communicates well, and has been absolutely wonderful in dealing with my two big dogs while she cleaned. Could not recommend her more highly. looking for a cleaner for me I was receiving constant updates about their efforts, and when they found one, I was told she would call… and she did - 2 mins later! My cleaner (Toni) was professional and prompt and lovely… she worked so hard! After she was done, AD was contacting me to check on the job and to see if I needed her to return. As I only needed a one off clean, they thanked me for letting them know (so they could stop sending me messages about further cleaning jobs) and there was no pressure to continue, no questions asked. I had a great experience with AD and I’m grateful that they were able to help me out with my house clean.

Excellent service. Over and above what was required – I found Ivy Ratoa through Absolutely Domestic and I couldn't have been happier. She came in to clean my unit once every fortnight and nothing was too much for her. She showed initiative and would pick up on items to be cleaned without having to be told. I've had to let her go because I'm moving away from the Central Coast but will definitely call on Absolute Domestics again once I'm settled in my new home.

Wouldn’t use this service – Wouldn’t recommend this service. Had an end of lease clean done as we are renting our property. The bathroom mirror wasn’t cleaned properly. The floors weren’t vacuumed and mopped properly. Our garage was converted to an office and they didn’t mop/vacuum that area at all even thought we specifically asked them to. Perfect work/life balance great clients – I have worked for absolute domestics on the central coast for almost 6 months now, The office has always been happy and helpful with any help you need. My clients are all great I love the responses from them after I've been it's great to know they appreciate it and you have lightened their load . The work/ life balance is also great I have young children and can work school hours with no weekends.
