A perfect way to get the important things done! – We engaged a cleaner to ensure domestic sanity while I was studying. It was a very worthy investment and the house never looked so good! Poor cleaning. Do not recommend – Have had colleagues who has had cleaners. Was initially impressed by the number of good reviews for Absolute Domestics. cleaning I would need to do.

Usually I do not complain, and have given the cleaner 4 sessions to get to know the apartment and what areas needed to be cleaned. There were areas that were missed or cleaned subpar (streaks left behind, areas missed) but on the 3rd visit, an object was broken and was placed in the corner without being told it was broken. I understand things can get broken, and it was a mistake, but should have been upfront about it. Not hide it at the back of the corner, hoping I would not notice. On the 4th visit, cleaner spent almost an hour cleaning a very small bathroom which was relatively clean, should have been a relatively simple straight forward clean.

Unfortunately, the mirrors had streaks over them, the single glass shower panel had dried water marks, with water dripping from the ceiling, and inside the cupboards and shelves. The floor corners had pools of water with cleaning items sitting in the water. Perfume bottles had water under their lids, with cloth material on the perfume soaked in water, power cord drenched in water. After the previous incident, I approached the cleaner immediately afterwards in regards to the water inside the cupboards and wetting the items inside the cupboards. Several of which I had to dismantle and throw out the external packaging.

I understand mistakes happen, but clearly this was very poor cleaning and if this was the method that Absolute Domestics have trained their cleaners to do, then this is incredibly disappointing.

Given there is not much to clean in the kitchen as keep this area relatively clean on a day to day basis, it was disappointing that the stove area was still quite unclean and same with the splash back.

It is disappointing that this was the service I had received.To have hired a cleaner, I would have expected that the cleaning service would be of professional standard, of which fell well short.

So cool – Dawa is an amazing cleaner, makes everything shiny and clean! God bless her! She hasn't wasted a single minute and is an excellent cleaner.  Show reply

Extremely unprofessional and untrustworthy – The cleaner did a rush job for the tasks requested and refused to come back to redo the job. Instead, she demanded that she is paid (again) for the cleaning service of her choice! She was very unprofessional and Absolute Domestics didn’t want to take responsibility or accountability. Would never recommend them to anyone! Lack of care and lack of respect.

Best cleaners I've ever had (finally) :) – I've had cleaners before but nothing like Hassan and hanene did everything I wanted and more. Such hard working people it felt really good not having to clean after they've left like I've done in the past with previous cleaning campanies. Loving my new cleaner – Our new cleaner Jayanthi is fantastic, she is reliable and friendly. Terrible 'Spring Clean'. Not transparent – I received a three hour 'spring clean' for $165 for our 2 bedroom apartment upon returning from being away on holiday. We asked that they focused on giving the bathroom and wooden floors a good clean during this time. Very unhappy as it didn't look like the floors were cleaned at all or anything dusted. Their response was that they can't complete a Spring Clean in 3 hours, yet this is the option on the website & we had asked that they prioritise the floors.

In saying that, we had previously received an end-of-lease clean and that cleaner (a different one) did a great job. So perhaps it's luck game with some cleaners being much better than others.

However after this last experience I will no longer recommend anyone to Absolute Domestics.

Most disappointed – Most disappointed this time with Absolute Domestics the scheduled cleaner did not turn up, no phone call nothing nada, rang office and was told they didn't know what happened to her either, now you can't get me a cleaner for another fortnight!! Then on a day of the week that is most inconvenient.

Janine is amazing – Thank goodness I for janine at absolute domestics she does such a fantastic job at keeping our house clean.. We love her and our life would not be the same with out her. Nothing is ever to hard for her to do, she so efficient and gets it all done in the allocated hours. Thank you for always cleaning like it's your first, also love how the toilet paper is folded after toilets are cleaned :)  Show reply

AVOID!!!!! High cleaner turnover and poor quality cleans – I had nothing but problems with this business. Yes I had one or two good cleaners over a 5 year period but they always left to pursue better jobs or moved. I tried posting on their facebook page about the issues I had experienced to try and get through to AD, only to have my comments deleted twice (They only keep the positive ones up). In the end management rang me to apologise and finally be honest that it is very very difficult to get cleaners in my area (southern Bayside suburbs). I was very angry because I had a six week old baby at this stage and felt lied to and misleaded by this company at a time when I needed a cleaner desperately. The manager also said they only keep up the good reviews as they want people to see what a good company they were. This made it clear to me that they were not an honest company and they have no problems promising things they can not deliver on

I would only use this company in an extreme emergency or if you absolutely have no other alternative

"Absolute" Waste of money! – The cleaners arrived 20 minutes late. They were done within the hour. The only area they appeared to have cleaned was the floor....and that did not include under the couch, bed or any type of furniture. Picture rails were not touched. Appalling job in the bathroom, not cleaned at all. Wasted my time and money. Definitely would not recommend.

Help a call away – Absolute Domestics have assisted with home help for us for a couple of years. They tailor the selection to our needs and the people who have come have been delightful, efficient and gracious. We will keep using the service.  Show reply

Absolute Domestics and Sandra have been a godsend – I am partially disabled and rely on outside cleaning services . My experience had not been good until a friend recommended Absolute Domestics , who allocated Sandra to me .
