My brother booked this company online and was messed around with them not turning up at all when scheduled. When he complained and rescheduled again with confirmation, again, they failed to turn up again. Excuses were plenty including saying the dates were wrong even when the conversations both times had been witnessed. A disgraceful way to operate, no apologies offered. No one should trust or use this company.

I had a booking for Saturday 9/8/25 @ 12 noon for a 3hr Spring Clean. The cleaners didn't show up, didn't call, nothing. I tried to call the 1300 number but it didn't even ring. I ended up sending an email and cancelling it all together. I'll find someone local and more reliable.

Tshering and Amber do an amazing clean for us. Each fortnight they turn up and just get stuck in to clean. If I have any extra concerns that need cleaning, they do not hesitate to say yes we can do that. Very happy with our wonderful cleaning crew Show reply

cleaners left after approximately 1.5 hours. Several areas were either not cleaned at all or were poorly cleaned, including the bedroom carpet (not properly vacuumed), inside cupboards, inside the oven, under the couch and TV table, under the coffee mat, and sections of the kitchen counter. These are basic expectations for a deep cleaning service. Based on the company’s website, deep cleaning includes hard-to-reach areas and inside appliances. What I received was general surface cleaning. When I raised the issue, I was told these items were not mentioned on the day — despite having provided the request in writing a week in advance. I was refunded only USD 60. This means I paid USD 200 for 1.5 hours of regular cleaning. The issue was not properly resolved, and no appropriate refund was made to reflect the difference between a partial/general clean and the deep clean service that was advertised and booked. Very disappointing experience.

Our cleaner eventually contacted us to arrange a viewing to see what actually had to be done at the house. After ghosting us on the original day to view the place he rescheduled for the following day and said that for what we wanted done it would take 3 hours with two people. As we had booked him for 5 hrs, we said if you have time you could wipe the walls but if not, don’t worry as we can finish the job off. AT NO POINT DOES THIS MEAN if you have time in your day you can just work for countless hours without contacting us for approval. We had booked him for one day but he had contacted us asking if he could split it over two days, which was fine as everyone has a personal life and things to take care of. Day 1 he asked us to pay $325 (which we did) and that he would come back and finish it off the next day, so we assumed that’s when we would pay the remaining $65 as not much would be left to do, because he had another job booked. Once we contacted him to see how he went and to finalise the payment he was still at the property and requesting to come back for an additional day, we were confused by this and said that we had only booked him for 5hrs and asked how long he had been there for to which he responded an ADDITIONAL 6hrs and that it would cost and ADDITIONAL $390 for day 2. His response to our confusion was “the way we spoke sounded like we didn’t care about the price and we just wanted the job done”, we made it very clear to him from the beginning that we are students and had only booked him for 5hrs so whatever he cannot do we will finish ourselves. So now we have a total bill of $715 for an unfinished house that was (in his words) only going to take 3hrs to complete. Please look elsewhere and do not fall for the same trap we did.

Cleaner didn’t bring any equipment and didn’t empty our vacuum cleaner when finished. Told that they charge an extra $15 to bring equipment and products. Our previous cleaners have all brought their own equipment!

Kristine is excellent to work with and does very detailed cleaning. She is reliable, professional, and always makes sure everything is spotless. I’m very happy with her work and highly recommend her. Show reply

Donna is a bubbly and friendly person who is always happy and positive as well as being a very good cleaner. She is happy to take on the occasional extra task as requested and will volunteer to do an extra task if required. Show reply

The cleaner I was assigned was ok. I had to point out a few things that were not cleaned to a high standard. Also you need to have your own equipment and cleaning products as they don’t provide them Show reply

They have provided me with two separate cleaners who both acted dishonestly, claiming payment for hours that were not worked. am unable to work full-time. To exploit that situation shows a complete lack of integrity — and the company’s response has been equally unacceptable.

Despite repeated communication, the company continues to deny responsibility, claiming they are “just a booking agent,” even though they publicly represent themselves as an agency that provides and manages domestic cleaners. This is misleading and falls far short of the level of accountability and care that clients should be entitled to expect.

In my view, this company has demonstrated a serious failure in both ethics and oversight. I would strongly advise others to exercise caution before engaging their services.

Both cleaners Johnson and Theresa did a EXCELLENT thorough clean of my home. The house had dog hair everywhere and my bathroom really needed a good scrub. Both did the job in the time specified. Very happy with the result. Highly recommend them. Show reply

My cleaner was great, but the admin/management part of the experience was poor - very difficult to contact, and disappointingly poor customer service, particularly given that the issue was their responsibility. Would not recommend Absolute Domestics to anyone.

Communication is what will let this company down. Twice now, the cleaners did not show up. No communication, message, call, just didn't turn up. with another company. You really need to do better. I gave you two stars on job satisfaction. When your cleaners turned up, they did a good job. But, twice they failed to show, and ghosted the customer. Not good at all.

Marianne performed a great first clean last week and I'm happy to recommend her. She was very willing and insisted on staying a little over her finish time to complete everything.

i have had a couple of different cleaners service the house through the time that i have been with Absolute Domestic, and the standard of cleaning was always very high. once i am settled into my new home after moving, i will definitely look at getting them in again - and expect that the service in the other state is just as good :)

From the outset of becoming customers of Absolute Domestics we've been quite impressed. We are so happy with our cleaner, she is courteous, communicative, respective of our furniture, and a very good cleaner. When she leaves, our house sings! I hope she is just as happy with us. failed to show up – cleaner did not show up 3 times. We accommodated when she claimed headache and rescheduled only for her to still not show up twice more. We needed help as I work full time and my husband broke his leg in a car accident. Extremely unprofessional and greatly disappointed
