Acer Spin 1 Questions & Answers
Does it have its own anti virus
The Acer spin1 is a budget computer. Its decant for a while but falls apart over the years. The design is bad, over the months the screws underneath the laptop started to get loose and fall apart. Same with when you flip it to like an iPad. The things that connect the screen at desktop start to break the laptop structure. It will bend over time and open up the laptop. It gets slow for example, tabs in google will take a longer time to load and battery life will shorten. In the bright side though, This laptop did its job to keep me going through on year of school work. it was easy to handle, not too expensive, especially for repairs. Its not too pricey and expensive compared to other laptops. I can run Netflix on this laptop, and have games like Roblox....lol. Acer just needs to work on the design of this laptop. I rate the laptop out of 5 stars a 3.5/5.
How is the battery life on this thing? TIA.
It's actually pretty good. I can get about 8-10 hours once fully charged and it still has charge left when I plug it in (:
Thanks Ash! x
I have trouble with the mouse pad on the Spin 1. is it possible to buy a proper hand held mouse that will work with the Spin 1 please? I have never liked these integral mouse pads on laptops and always prefer to work with a mouse with a lead and USB connector. I tried using a mouse from my bigger, older laptop but the USB plug doesn't fit any of the ports on the Spin 1. Please advise. Thanks Tania
Yes you can I attach a wired mouse and use this whenever I am working at a desk The USB port works fine for this
yep, the Spin 1 has ports on both sides, my old mouse fits on the right side port near the power button. regards K
Thank you yes I finally found it. At first I couldn't fit it in the port seemed too small but I got there in the end!
Gr8 work Tania. You go girl!
