ALDI Workzone High Pressure Cleaner 1400W (Nov 2017, Nov 2018, Nov 2019) Questions & Answers
VerifiedMPN: 58428I bought a Workzone pressure cleaner about five years ago. Decided to unpack and use it today. Can someone tell me why my hose keeps flying off the water input connection. Connected according to instructions. Seems rather dangerous being connected to electricity.
I have same issue. The problem is that the connector on the machine has slightly different length dimensions than the Australian standard click connectors. I will update here when/If I find the solution.
Newer Gardena fitting fits.
Machine worked fine for 12 months. Disconnected pressure hose for transportation but now unable to re-connect pressure hose to machine.
I have a workzone cleaner that i purchased from Aldi ,out of warranty and need some repairs, could you please tell me the nearest repair place to Noosaville 4566.
My pressure cleaner went on for about 2 seconds now won’t turn on. Had it for two years only used it a couple of times. Any suggestions is it worth fixing?
The product operated immediately stop. Reasons?
Has it got a cut out switch if it over heats. Only use it a couple of times and it stopped working. Used it for about 10 minutes. ?
Welcome to WALLY WORLD, join the rest of the public who are disgruntled with their ALDI bought, Workzone high pressure cleaner. Just take it to an electrician, car elec will do, they will examine it and advise. My problem with this unit is--an incorrect nozzle fitted to my machine, Nobody seems to want to know I exist, after emails over several months now? Best of luck with your faulty unit.
I rang Aldi and said I could return it.i don’t th ave the manual. Lost it.
are there any tricks to stopping the water hose from blowing off?
HI Sylvia, your model is probably a bit different to mine, however I suspect some fittings should be universal. If your question relates to the hose from the tap: This is usually a normal tap fitting, one part screws to your machine and the other snap fitting fits to your garden hose. Maybe the "O" ring on the male section is in poor condition or the clips on the female side are worn. Just go to the local hardware and buy a complete tap hose connector and hopefully this should solve the problem. Now, if you are talking about the high pressure hose, they usually screw onto a fitting on the body. I doubt one of those would blow off, however I guess the hose could blow off that screw up fitting; a lot depends how that connector is designed. A worm screw pipe clamp from a hardware shop might fix that problem. Hope these suggestions help you, good luck. Tom
yes it is the garden hose I will try a new connector thanks for the advice
Where can i get a hose replacement for the said high pressure cleaner?
Aldi
Have mislaid instructions and had difficulty downloading manual from the internet. Both nozzle and circular brush with rotating arm inside are working fine, but cannot work out how or where to attach plastic cleaning fluid bottle. One end will fit into spray handle, but should nozzle pole then be attached? A few odd black connectors, etc I can’t fit anywhere. Thanks Peter Carroll
Peter,
Were you able to work it out? If not reply here and I’ll help you if I can as I have this model.
Yeah how do u do it
where can I buy a replacement hose for work zone pressure cleaner
Have you contacted the contracted after sales service provider shown on the warranty card? If it is less than 3 years old and the damage is not due to misuse you may be eligible for a warranty claim. Or a refund from the store. I have a spare hose from a defunct Model Q1W-SP20-1900A of 03/2016, but I suspect every model is made slightly different so that spare parts are not readily available. (In other words, to make you go and buy a new machine.)
I would like to know why my brand new machine tripped my RCD switch I have used more powerful machines and no problems
Were you seriously expecting an answer wazza? It's the quality of Aldi's products. They know that a large proportion of people won't bother going back for a refund. Money for jam. Just try dealing with their out-sourced sub-contracted third-party after sales "service" providers.
We had ours start smoking and then burst into flames within 10 mins of it being plugged in. Took it back and got full refund from store.
