how to replace the knob for Ariston Aqualtis
My AQ7L 05 U machine won’t go through a proper wash cycle anymore. I generally use the 30min mix cycle. It only goes through the wash and rinse phases and won’t spin or drain. I have to pause and manually change the machine to the phase of the cycle I need. Is there any way to troubleshoot this myself?
Hi Emily, It is difficult to determine the issue without seeing the machine. It could be an internal component that needs to be fixed or replaced. It would be best to give Arisit Technical Support a call on 1300 762 219 to see if they can recommend a solution or if they think a technician needs to come out to have a look. Regards
Hi Emily,
Did you have any luck solving your issue? We have the same problem.
Cheers, Rhys
Machine stays in the wash cycle on the 30 minute quick wash. I have to turn off the machine and use the wash selector dial to complete the washing cycle. Thanks Leah
Hi Leah, Sometimes if the washer is overloaded, it can take longer than the normal time to wash and spin the clothes. Make sure that the washer is not too full before starting a cycle. If the washer is not overloaded, and the wash cycle is never-ending until you switch the cycle manually, then there may be an issue with an internal component. It would be a good idea to email Arisit Technical Support on arisit.warranties@arisit.com to see if they can recommend a fix, or if they think a technician should come out to have a look. Regards
HI, Does anyone know the proper way to replace the selector knob on the ARISTON WASHING MACHINE AQ7L05U as it is just turning freely without clicking on each setting. Saw the old comment from Diane above, but do not want to drill the old knob to remove. thanks

Thanks.Unfortunately that will likely cost me hundreds of dollars in repairs which I can't afford, therefore looking for a bit of do it yourself advice. Cheers

My Ariston Aqualitis is leaking water from the bottom / back of W.machine. I have checked hose connection at back and seem fine. Also cleared the front panel plug to remove any obstacles caught during washing cycles. Any ideas.
no idea

What is the weight of this machine?
I have no idea sorry; it's a completely different model to mine. Perhaps email Ariston direct.
How to put detergent on the machine and the rubber is all moulded and stink
Top left behind the door is the drawer you put the detergent in.
My research warned me about mold forming on front-loaders, so I keep the door and drawer open to dry whenever it's not in use. If yours stinks, research how to de-mold it.
Why does it knock on spin cycle? One week old!! replaced by Harvey Norman. Last one two weeks old ,same knock!! Help!
When Harvey Normal delivered ours the guys didn't level it properly so it vibrated when on spin cycle. So we leveled it and it is fine now.
It is not part of their job requirement to level machines or hook up water services. The service provided is very cheap in contrast to independent contractors.
