Hi how do I use machine without delayed wash
On off button sticking
Hello, The machine does not power on. When pressing the power button the door opens but no power light or error codes. The PowerPoint is not faulty as other appliances work from same PowerPoint when tested. We have cleaned and emptied drain. Tried powering on and off several times.
It sounds like you have tried all the troubleshooting ideas. Hopefully you have a good appliance person around too. It could that be the electrical panel maybe? The only other thing that the manual says is if it's on delayed start - To Cancel press the Start/stop button for 3 seconds. Good luck!
Ok thanks
hi our ASKO W6444A washing machine door wont close
it was closed, then i opened it by pressing the button with the key it opened i added some more clothes and now it wont lock
Good morning Tony. Thank you for reaching out. A member of our service team will contact you shortly to assist you. Regards
After accidentally pressing the delay button and then holding the start button for 3 seconds to cancel same, all cycles now fill and wash for 1 sec and that is that. Drained the water and used the door opener that came with the appliance as the door would not open by pressing the button. Do not know how to get my machine back working, it is currently sitting with door open power off and electric plug out of socket. Any ideas please?
Hi Elfi. Can you please contact us on feedback@asko.com.au with the full model number so we may help you. Thank you and look forward to being of assistance.
Kind regards
My Asko W6444 is tripping of my electricity safety switch, I have drained all hoses, nothing seems blocked as it finishes cycles fine with no washing in there, but with clothes, it seems most time on a spin to then trip the safety switch ??
Doe this machine heat up the water?
Hi I have and Asko W6444 and the door wont close have tried WD40 with little success any answers
my machine stops after 1st minute on all cycles ??
Getting small holes in some clothes after washing cycle. Checked drum and there seems to be no sharp objects.
The machine keeps on flashing on the panel no error codes and will not fill with water .Drained and checked filter still not working ..help please..
hey sarah have you consulted the user manual - i would turn the power off and leave it for a few hours and then try using the machine again( i have had this happen a few times in normally works). If unsuccessful consult the user manual cheers
Yes I did this and it happened to work again .I goggled and found some helpfull hints by reopened the door 6 times it may have reset something .
Asko front loader washing machine w6444 stopped. No power at all. Checked for fuse and found no provision for fuse , wires go directly into capacitor. Are there any other fuses ?
I closed the door on my washing machine, clicked to the cycle I wanted and pushed start but nothing is happening. My washing machine will not respond to on/off, changes to cycles etc. . It keeps flashing 1:30 which doesnt appear to be an error message. Have tried unplugging from power, have checked circuit breakers, tried to change cycles, tried turning water on /off. Have repeated above actions several times over several days. Still no luck. Help
Hi Gail, I'm sorry I can't help, I too am just a user of this incompetent machine. Perhaps call asko for advice.
Hi just tried putting on the wash for 30 mins on cold cycle but every time I press the Start button - the door opens - any suggestions?
Hi there Carolyn, I just had a go on my asko and I can't even get a 30 min wash on cold !! As for your problem while I have no solution for you I suggest google the manual for your machine and see if there are some fault finding pages in it. Good luck , Cat
I flooded my laundry from the sink and my asko is just flashing on and off. Won’t open. Have cleared the drain at the bottom and dried the area. Any suggestions
Google the model number for the manual. I do this for all my appliances. Im sure there is a way to open it. Have you tried turning the power off then on and push the key button ?
The machine starts its cycle saying it will take 2 hours 10 mins. Come back 1 hour late and it now says it will take 2 hours 15 mins???
Mine has done the same since I got it. I dont understand it either. Customer service is awful. Im putting it down to a bad purchase. Never will buy Asko again.
I turned on my W6564 washing machine last night and when it was spinning it made an awful sound. When I went to check it out, the machine was turned off and the door had turned 40 degrees clockwise, so the door handle is now almost at the bottom. I can't turn it on, the door is locked and the washing is stuck in the machine. Any ideas?
Oh wow sounds like you need a tradie. First I would contact ASKO, you never know they may have heard of this before and if your machine is still under warrantee they are obliged to fix it.
Thank you. We’re booked in with Asko. I think we might have to buy a new machine. The customer service rep didn’t sound confident.
I have an Asko W6444. Has been a most reliable machine for many years. But now It won’t start and the time is flashing.
Did you resolve this problem? Mine is doing that out of the blue today.
So is mine. I press start and the door opens
Our Asko W6444 flips the circuit breaker. What could be causing this. We tried a different appliance in the same power point and there was no issue.
My ten year old Asko has done that lately. Service man says motor is overheating?
I have an 8 year old model. The machine was half way through a cycle and stopped rotating. The motor won't run. The belt is still fitted. It just refuses to ruin and the is no fault code. The timer stays on the time it stopped on. Any ideas?
I dont really know, I had a W6443 model. Just try all the things you can try by turning it all off, check that nothing is caught by draining the machine first via the small access door at front and pulling out & cleaning the "spinning thing". Was the load too heavy? If it doesn't come good after turning back on again, better get Asko out.
